This was totally not too dark for me. I can see it being too dark for someone with very light ivory skin, but beyond that, it's likely to work with anyone that has a "light to medium" skin tone, especially since it relies more on light reflective tech than it does on pigmentation. Does a great job at de-puffing my eyes in the morning and concealing dark circles. I have been using it for about a month now and have seen a noticeable difference in the severity of my dark circles, which is more than I can say for most treatments on the market. Then again I couple this with a vitamin E/vitamin B5 treatment at night... so that may be why I'm seeing improvements over others.
I bought this BB Cream Eye Roll-On in the colour ''light''.The colour is so orangey that it looks strange ( if not funny ) in my pale skin . It covers a bit , but it creases . I agree with the previous review about the price .It costs about 10 euros ( 8 euros with a discount now in Greece ) for only 7 ml . I dont know why Garnier put such a big box/ packaging for such a small eye roll-on .
Overall , i am disappointed with this product , i regret buying it ..
I agree with the reviewer below, I bought this in Light and for my NC15 skin, even with quite bad dark circles where peach tones help a lot, this is too dark of a peachy tone. About a shade too dark. Off a lippie for poor colour selection.
But what bothers me most and why I take off a second lippie, is this: For any of you who tried their regular tinted eye roll on, this is almost the same product, just slightly thicker and with different shades (the Fair in that one was a touch too light for me, and pure yellow rather than peachy). But while the other product is 10 for 15ml, this is 10 for 7ml. So you pay the SAME PRICE FOR LESS THAN HALF THE PRODUCT!!! Does Garnier take us for fools?!
Otherwise it's light, gets absorbed quickly, only creases a bit and not at all if set with powder, and covers well. But what a rip off!!
UPDATE: I started mixing the 2 products that I mentioned, the BB eye roll on in Light and regular tinted roll on in Fair to get a shade that's perfect for my under eyes.
This is the latest addition to Garnier's eye roll-on products. Garnier claims that one of its ingredients, 'haloxyl', will help to help treat dark circles. Whilst I can't vouch for this (I will update if I see an improvement), I can say that the light-reflecting pigments significantly reduce the appearance of dark circles temporarily. I find that two thin layers of this light formula conceal my very dark circles without looking heavy or settling in fine lines. It doesn't irritate my eye area, which is a bonus for me as I have very sensitive skin and I find that many eye products do. The roll-on applicator feels soothing but I find it necessary to blend the BB cream by tapping it with my ring finger and/or using a concealer brush. What lets this eye BB cream down is the poor colour selection. There are currently two colours: 'light' and 'medium' available in the UK. I am NC15-20 and find the 'light' colour slightly too dark and peach toned. I hope Garnier introduce more colours and I will repurchase if they do.
