I love everything about this product. I bought it on a whim at Target since I was at a loss of what smoothing cream to get. None of them worked well. Boy was I surprised with this product! It smells good. It comes in a tube, and is easy to dispense. The price is less than $7 and it's a cream. I have used tons of smoothing creams, and this is a great product! It also has a built in heat protectant of up to 450 degrees. And boy does it get rid of frizz and flyaways. I had gotten a blow out at the salon last week and after using this product this week, my hair came out as good, if not better than the salon results. It also got rid of my fly aways and I woke up in the morning and my hair looked even better. I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised with this product. It reminds me of the Redken smoothing lotions for a quarter of the price. I totally recommend this.

I'll just say this right out of the gate - I generally loath L'Oreal products. I've never tried one of the products that worked for me. If it did, I could generally find something better. So why do I have this product you ask? Well, sometimes I just get a hankering to try something new. That typically happens when I'm grocery shopping because my budget (ie broke as a joke) really doesn't allow me to fulfill that hankering at say Sephora. When I saw a shelf full of L'Oreal's new Advanced Hair Care line, I just had to get something. Most of the shelf was picked clean because the prices on these products are amazingly low. Luckily I was able to grab a bottle of the Dry Oil and this product. For once, I'm glad I bought something by L'Oreal.

I typically use Redken Align 12 balm on my hair before I blow dry and iron it with my trusty Chi. That's an awesome product that smells amazing but it's pricey. Since I'm running low and likely won't repurchase another bottle in the near future, I decided to use this product as a cheap alternative. Shockingly, this works just as well, if not better than Redken. It makes straightening my hair a breeze and, since it's a cream, there's no worries about over applying and getting that oily look like so many hair serums can give you. This leaves my hair feeling soft and smooth.

The smells of the cream is what I would describe as simply clean. By the time I get done baking/frying my hair, the smell is gone. If you're not into your hair smelling overly perfume-y, this is a plus. I also love that this has a built heat protectant in it (up to 450 degrees so says the bottle). Most heat protectant sprays leave my hair feeling extra dry so it's nice to skip that step. The price is also outstanding. I believe nearly everything from the Advanced Line is moderately priced (under $7 or so) which I love.

Overall, I am pleasantly surprised by this creme. It's just as good as a salon product but nearly as damaging to your wallet.

I Got this as a sample and bought it right away, used it with the flat iron and it worked great. I bought it right away. I took a star away because I used it and let my hair dry al natural and the results weren't great. But still a great product. I wasn't impressed with the shampoo or conditioner

I got this as a sample and I was impressed. I'm used to serums, but not creams. I don't dry or straighten my hair normally, I just look for ways to tame frizz, and figured this could work even on non-heat treated hair. First I just tried it on wet hair and let it air dry, as I normally do. It seemed to help with frizz and give it a nice bouce without being sticky. Then the next time, I tried it on my bangs and straightened them, just to see how well it would hold up under heat. Some products gloop up, and even though I don't heat treat a lot, I don't want to be putting that in my hair. It didn't do that. My bangs actually felt really soft. I was surprised. It says in the directions to pay attention to your ends, which I'm careful of because I don't want anything to dry them out, and when I straightened my bangs, the ends did seem a little dryer than the rest. I'm not sure if I should go with less or more product there. I will keep you posted if I find a solution. But overall I'm glad I tried this and will continue to use it as a frizz tamer.

It's been a long time since I've found a hair straightening product that really works and I believe this is it. My hair is wavy and frizzy and the last few years has been hard to manage. This product takes care of all these issues and it's effect lasts for days. My only suggestion is use less than the recommended amount of a "quarter-size". I found this to be a little too much product for my just below shoulder length hair. I use more like a nickle size and it works just fine. I am curious to see how it will hold up to a hazy, hot and humid summer. Will keep you posted!

Ok, there are very few products that catch my eye right off the bat and after the first use, but this is a first! I have thick, course shoulder length, processed hair and although I have found products that I liked, NONE measure up to this product.

First off, the price is awesome. I think I paid less than $7 for it at Walmart.

I used less than a quarter amount for my hair as it was air drying and I do also add in Almond Oil to the mid shaft down. This makes my hair look like I just left the salon. I really cannot say enough about it. It doesn't leave any residue or oiliness to my hair. It leaves it smooth and just awesome looking. It makes it sooooo soft, but not that soft where you can't do anything with it.

I will DEFINITELY be repurchasing this product AND trying the others in this new Advanced line. :)
