I LOVE this palette. I love the mix of mattes and shimmers, and the range of colours means endless looks. The quality of these shadows is amazing, the pigment is great. I have heard people complain that they pick up too much product but I haven't had this issue maybe because I have a light hand. I love the slim packaging. If I had to be stuck on an island with just one palette I would pick this one every time.

This is replacing my UD Naked 2 Palette. I love that I have a series of matte and shimmery shades. Extremely versatile for anytime and situation, especially if you work in an office. The sleek packaging makes it portable so I plan on taking this with me on trips, but I must make note to be careful as it isn't too sturdy. The shadows are a little on the powdery side but it does not take away from their pigmentation, longevity, or application. I feel that these shadows last so much longer on me than I'd ever hope to expect. I tested them with and without and it wins both ways. Keep in mind, my eyelids are really oily and UD's crease on me without a primer. I paid about $42.00 for this and I am not regretting it!

In the palette, these colors are beautiful. They provide colors for daytime neutral looks, smoky eye looks, and dramatic evening looks.
One row of the palette is full of matte shades; the other is full of shimmers, making this palette age appropriate for most skin tones and ages. It is a palette I can use on clients, friends, and family members.

Color Payoff: Most of the colors have incredible color payoff; there is only one that appears to swatch a little on the weak side. All but one appear true to palette on my NC 40/42 skin tone.

Color Fallout: One does need to tap the brush as there is quite a bit of color fallout. Overall, the shadows do appear a bit fragile and a bit dusty. Mine has not broken or cracked anywhere as I treat it gingerly, but I treat it gingerly because the shadows do appear a bit fragile.

Staying Power: I always use these shadows with a base and have been known to wear these shadows for as many as 10 hours. Typically, these shadows go the distance for 8 hours on me and then begin to fade.

Color Comments: As an NC 40/42, some of these shadows are too dark for me. Certain purples and browns are difficult for my skin shades as I have both gray and yellow undertones (not olive). I have to make sure that I use a light hand with the darker shades as a little goes a long way.

Blendability: These shadows are blendable but the darker colors grab and dominate heavily. Again, best to use a light hand.

Texture/Appearance: Most of these shadows are highly pigmented and apply softly. Only one shade appears a little chalky on me. On most other members of my family, all of the shadows are fine so it might be a peculiarity of my skin texture and color. Some of the darker shadows do require a bit of blending. Definitely use an eyeshadow base or primer if you have any signs of aging around the eyes as the shades will settle into lines without one. In addiiton, the colors are more blendable on a smooth surface.

It is difficult to find shadows that look well on my skin type and eye shape. I cannot layer colors well or do a full smoky eye with my skin color, texture and specific facial features. Yet, I've been able to find at least one extremely wearable look on me using all but two of these colors. For me, that is beyond victory when it comes to an eyeshadow palette.

I would definitely buy it again. The only hesitation I have is the fallout and powderiness of the palette. I keep it at home or among friends/family I can drive to. I would not pack it in a suitcase or take it in my purse for fear of dustiness or breakage.

Really enjoy this palette, great range of neutral colors, especially the fact that is has half matte shadows. Very versatile. Just be careful to tap off excess product off brush otherwise you will have fall out.

I would like to start off by saying I was hesitant about getting this product since I have the naked 1 and 2 palettes AND the SK neutral palette and felt perhaps it was unecessary. BUT I was so wrong. The eye shadows are so creamy and pigmented its so worth. I've made so many different combinations and they look wonderful. The matte shadows are so blendable and just makes the perfect matte eyeshadow make up. I am very please with this palette, its so different than the UD Palettes in many ways. The UD palettes are too shimmery and tons of glitter that makes it unwearable for day time looks, on top of that, the palettes dont have enough matte shadows.
AND they cost more the the LORAC Palette.
Lorac has eight matte shadows that if you wanted to go all matte it is def duable and looks amazing.
AND if you want to use shimmer the eye shadows with shimmer DO NOT FALL on your cheek and under your eye like the UD Palettes. Overall I've been using this Palette every single day for the past two weeks and I'm still loving it!

I'm a big lover of the Urban Decay Naked palette but This takes the cake for best palette in the makeup world as of now... The shadows are very pigmented and they all feel like butter.. Which you cant beat that by no means! I do a lot of freelance make up and Id have to say I find myself always using this eye shadow palette because the colors are sooooo very rich and universal! I would tell anyone who loves makeup that does not have this palette to go splurge and get it.. very worth the money!

I find this palette very practical with well pigmented neutral colors, equal matte and slightly shimmered helping me to crate a nice natural eye with ease. I do find the consistency of the shadows somewhat loose and so always stay aware of fall out and shake the brush off before application to my eyes.

I particularly like the mixture of the colors in this palette and would easily take this with me if I travel for a complete look. Very nice, basic neutral eye look.

I love the colors in the palette! And I absolutely adore the fact that there are an equal amount of matte colors to the shimmery colors! Very pigmented and easy to blend. I do use my Naked palette, but unlike that palette, I would actually use majority of the colors on the Lorac Pro Palette. The only thing I don't really like is the suede material from the packaging, but it doesn't bother me so much.. it's not like its the end of the world or anything. And I don't like how much fallout the eyeshadows have

If you are looking for a HG palette and your lids are closer to mature than young, well this is for you. I wasted $50 buying the UD Naked 2 palette only to find almost all the shadows were tooooo shimmery for my 49-year-old lids. Enter Lorac Pro Palette-half matte, half shimmer. And the shimmer is more of a satin look when applied than a metallic mess like UD was for me. There is a little fallout on some of the shimmer shades, just tap the excess off the brush before applying. These colors are all very wearable and blend like a dream. I use this palette literally every day.

OMG! I'm surprise there isn't more reviews on this palette! I absolutely love this palette. When I saw that half the shades are matte and the other half are shimmer I knew I had to get it. I love that the palette is very thin and compact. The whole rubber feeling of the case isn't too much of an "awe" factor for me because it can get dirty easily. However, I love the eye shadows consistency...easily blendable and pigmented. It also comes with a sample size eye shadow primer. You definitely won't be disappointed if you invest in this. I reach for this palette practically everyday ever since I got it.
