Verve is one of my favorite shades in the Naked 2 palette (along with YDK & Pistol). I avoided buying a single of it, but I was building a UD quad and it just made the most sense to have it in there. It is one of my most used UD eyeshadows. I love this shade because it is so multidimensional. At first , it appears to be a silvered gray shade. Then you get a glimpse of pink, then iridescent gray taupe. The UD website describes this as an oyster shade and that pretty much sums it up. Imagine looking at the inside shell of an oyster and all those colors that reflect back. It reminds me of the duochrome affect that you get from MAC Vex (but Vex has a pink/green duochrome & Verve is a silver, pink, gray taupe). Verve is probably the most versatile shade too. Pair it with Pistol for a industrial smokey look or pair it with Rockstar for an ice princess look. Paired with Heartless, it is a romantic tone. Verve applies like a dream and is another one of those colors that makes me look like I know how to apply eye shadow. FYI, I am Nw20, deep soft winter with almost black hair, brown eyes.
I LOVE THIS EYE SHADOW!! I own the naked palette 1 and i wasnt sure if I wanted to buy the entire second naked palette, but i absolutely loved this shade so i bought it individually. I paid $22 for it at sephora in canada.
i use it nearly every day and for a casual look i just apply it over my lid, mainly in the inner corners and use a black eyeliner with mascara, and it brightens up my eyes! i also use it when im going out and either do a darker smokey eye with this in the inner corner, or use "gun metal" - a shimmery blue from the naked palette 1 along with this which is one of my favourite looks
this shade is versatile and can go with anything and it lasts a while and goes on really nicely. i have nothing bad to say about it, except it is a little pricey as an indiviual shade
This is a beautiful pale grey color, makes for an excellent inner shade for a smoky eye. Their new formula is so buttery and lasts such a long time.
