I purchased this when I saw Makeup By Alli raving about it on You Tube. Now that it is winter I need something that is really going to soften my face. I have dry parts on my cheeks, and they look horrible and crinkly once you apply makeup.
I just didn't like the way this felt on my skin. It's one of those products where you feel like you want to wash it off immediately after you've applied it. It felt waxy and uncomfortable. In the morning it didn't seem to soften my skin, or even make it look better. I would return it, but I've lost my receipt! One good thing with products like this, you can always use them on your hands or feet before bed, that is what I plan on doing with this.

When I applied this it felt dry and cakey and did not feel hydrated at all. However I use the acne solutions lotion which also feels that way so maybe if I use less it would work better.

I'm really kind of surprised that I even bought this. I recall all too well Charles Revson's (Revlon's founder) comment about "hope in a jar," and I've told myself for years that I'm just gonna age gracefully; on top of that, I think Burt's Bees products are all too often cutesy, overpriced, and overhyped.

BUT. I did buy this because there was a deal on it at RiteAid and I just can't resist a good bargain. And whaddya know? The cream is light without greasiness and the fragrance is lovely. I have crow's feet on the side of my eyes and some rather deep lines on my forehead; I don't know whether use of this cream on those areas has actually made me look better - I think it has - but whether I'm deluded or not, I'm going with the "hope in a jar" on this one. I have repurchased and will continue to do so. I use it as a night cream and a day cream because it's not too heavy. Burt, well done: I give you credit for a great cream.

This is a very rich cream but it is not greasy or heavy on your skin. After first applying the cream you might feel your skin tight but this only lasts a few minutes and then it feels just really moisturized. it has a really soft fresh smell. I got this cream for christmas and i can tell that after a few days my skin was softer and more silky even after spending this last week in arizona which is really dry. Since the absorption of this cream is good and is not greasy AT ALL, I am using it for day cream too. Another good thing about this cream is that doesnt contain parabens like most lotions do. The only thing that might turn into a bad thing is that it dries really fast so if you dont rub immediately it might become thick and hard to apply on your face. I would buy this cream for sure.

I purchase this product for around $18 for my dry eyes. I had developed a dry patch on my eyelids. This cream healed the dry spot the first night! Light weight but moistures well. Did not upset my sensitive skin. Was surprised how much cream for a reasonable price. I think this will be my go-to eye cream from now on.
