This is one of my favorite everyday products. I had used a Maybelline one before, which was ok, but definitely had less coverage and was thinner. The Rimmel one is the least expensive ones around, and has a thicker consistency, which is really useful in covering up zits. This thickness allows it to smooth out my complexion in a way most BB creams (and even foundation) can't. I would even say it covers blemishes as well as some high-end makeup. However, it is not so thick that it cakes up on your face The fact that it has SPF 25 helps. Long story short, I'm really happy I bought this!
I'm pretty new to the BB cream craze, and I have only been wearing face makeup for the past 5 months or so. I first tried Wet n Wilds Fergie BB cream and was somewhat unimpressed, but I liked the idea of BB's. So I saw this in Walmart, and since I love Rimmel, I thought I would give it a shot. I picked up the lightest they had
I definitely love this BB cream. It has a nice coverage on my dry cheeks (I use Stay Matte foundation on my oily forehead and t-zone.) It doesn't look too orange on my pale skin, and it doesn't look like I am wearing a bunch a of stuff on my face. It also makes my skin feel super soft.
I think this product would be really good for a beachy vacation. It's small, travel-sized, and has spf 25.
My skin tone is very hard to match, so right now, during the pale phase of winter, this product doesn't totally match my skin tone (light). However, this product wears light, it covers most of my faded acne scars, and it controls my oiliness. I'm very excited to try this product when I go on spring break and I'll need something quick and easy to put on before I spend the day on the Florida shores.
While I went on a great purchasing rampage of buying every BB creme I could find, I was most excited about this product. However, while it had the best coverage out of all the BB cremes I tried, it oxidized almost immediately and the lightest shade 'Light' that they offered was far too orange/dark on my skin. It had the consistency of a moisturizing foundation, and it would've been a great purchase if it hadn't gone dark. For medium yellow toned skinned people, this will be a good product because it will probably match your skin tone, but for anyone of light/fair skin, the lightest shade is far too dark.
This bb cream works very well on my skin. Very good coverage. Applies very well. Leaves my skin bright and radiant. I bought the medium tone. First bb cream I purchase and I love it so far!
I bought this yesterday and it feels really gross to be honest. It doesnt cover well. But the brightside is it made my skin VERY soft.
This is a fail product for me, though it has it's positives. The positives is that it has pretty good coverage for a drugstore bb cream, it covers almost everything. It's also pretty cheap which never hurts. The reason I dislike it is because it is SO thick. Disgustingly thick. It feels tacky on my skin, doesn't sit on my face well and feels like it never dries. Blech. This product just doesn't feel good and looks horrific up close.
I bought this in the lightest color then had and it was still to dark for my pale skin,it turned me orange. I will however buy it again if I have a lighter coverage to put over it because it works great and it actually helped my skin clear faster than without using this product, he 9 benefits actually shine and you can she the difference in just one use.
This bb cream is extremely thick, it's more of a foundation consistency than a bb cream consistency. It dries quick and is hard to apply with fingers. I blended it in with a kabuki brush, and the bb cream tended to get really cakey, even with one light layer. It caked up especially on my nose and forehead. If you have dry skin this would defiantly will be a no go for you.
You pick up this BB cream. doubts fill your mind. Voices in your head whisper feverishly "No! Stop! Don't put cheap makeup on your face, especially makeup that claims to do 9 things! You're making a grave mistake!" You ignore this voice, and you pick up this BB cream. The plasticky packaging feels good in your hands. It's nice, thick, safe. You feel a little better. The price on the product lets you justify in your head why you're buying your 33rd face makeup product this year. You take it home. You open the tube. It smells a little weird, chemically yet perfumy. You ignore it. You first put on a moisturizer before applying this product, especially if you have dry skin, since you can tell from the first squeeze that the consistency of this product is quite thick. You spread it over your skin. It feels thick like a sunscreen, but gives the perfect amount of coverage your already blemish-free face needs without looking cakey or fake. Your face still looks natural, but perfected, and now coated with a protective layer of SPF. You are pleased. This product gives you light, build able coverage in a thick, nice consistency. The color of this product is not orange, not too drying if you apply a good moisturizer, and makes your skin feel soft and smooth. A victory over the stereotypes in the makeup world has been made: cheap face makeup CAN be wonderful!
