Most mascaras I use are very irritating and sensitive to my eyes. I love how this mascara contains organic ingredients and I love how dark my lashes look after I swipe the brush over them. In order to get that extended lash look, you have to pile on coats and coats of it. I gave it a 3 because it takes awhile for this mascara to dry.
OMG I love this stuff! I was buying lash injection. this is less than half the price and gives me mega lashes and doesn't smudge or flake all day. Came off easy with Alboline. I'm so glad I tried this after a friend talked me into it! Hope they never stop making it!
This is the only mascara that makes my eyes break out. I have an extreme allergic reaction. This stuff smears everywhere and it's very thin.
I'm a stickler for mascaras and heard good things about this one. I have voluminous lashes that usually take well to these types of mascara but this clumped all of my lashes together. Disappointed but willing to try PF's other formulations for sure.
It was too good of a deal to pass up. It was a buy one get one free and there were two in each package! Too bad it is not a stellar mascara. It's fine for an everyday wear situation. It is not fine to wear to an event that might provoke tears because you'd have the dramatic streaky face. I see a little smudging after about 6 hours of wear and since my skin is drier, I'm a little surprised by that. It is a nice dramatic mascara and a decent black color. It does not irritate my eyes and it is removed easily at night. It doesn't leave lashes stiff or weighed down but shows more effect than Clinique's glossy mascara which is great but sometimes I think a little on the wimpy side. There are a lot of mascaras to try. I don't need to do this again.
When I use this mascara I really do see a difference in length that I have not experienced with any other mascara I have tried. There is a huge difference in the before and after! It makes my eyes striking without adding any thickness (or clumps) to my lashes. I usually apply 2-3 coats to get the desired effect. The only downfall in this mascara is that if it gets wet you should expect it to run for the hills! Tears, sweat, a sudden downpour, and this mascara has had it. The upside to that, I suppose, is that it's organic nature means I don't have to worry about chemicals in my eyes when it runs (though it does sting), it doesn't leave black marks on your cheeks when it runs down, and it's super easy to remove in the evening!
Ultimately, while it could use a little more staying power, the effects I get, the organic ingredients, and the moderate price mean I will be coming back to this one again and again.
This seems to be a love it or hate it product. I love it, but I have read some review that were quite different from my experience on MUA. I put off buying any of the Physicians Formula mascaras because of the review, but Glamlifeguru seemed adamant that this was a great mascara, so when I saw that it was on a two for one sale, AND it was in a bonus package of two for one, and I had a two dollar off coupon, I decided it was now or never. I love the pink package, but it does take up more space than some mascara tubes. Not a problem for me, and PF tends to have bulky packages so I'm not surprised. Well, that and you can see what the tube looks like before you buy. This made my lashes very black, thick and long. The base of my lases was so dark from this that it looked like I was wearing eyeliner. I let it dry a bit between coats, and didn't have a problem with it coming off on anything as some people said it does for them. I haven't worn it in the rain, so I don't know if it runs or not when wet. I does not dry stiff on your lashes. My lashes remained soft and flexible when I touched them (which I did in trying to see how this wore) and I have never had a mascara that dried in the same way. My lashes held a curl, this didn't flake and my lashes looked huge. I love this, and am thrilled I got four tubes for $8.00. I'm going back to the store tomorrow to see if there are any more bonus packs, and I might try the formula in the black tube as well. I usually wear Almay Get Up And Grow, Cover Girl Clump Crusher, or L'Oreal Voluminous, but this will be in rotation as well.
I did try the green tube, and was thrilled with it as well. I did expect to dislike this, so I am quite surprised at how nice this is.
It's a black mascara that gives volume and definition, though nowhere near the "false lash" effects as it claims. Staying power is pretty good. However, the mascara wand is way too large and can make for messy applications if you are not careful. The fact that it's all-natural is nice, though all-natural doesn't necessarily mean better. But this formula is all right.
Overall, it's not bad...not outstanding either. It's one of the mascaras that I'd get if it were on sale, but if I had to pay full-price for it, I'd probably bypass it in favor of better drugstore mascaras such as Cover Girl Blast line.
I really liked how this made my lashes look! Long, thick and it was also really easy to apply. I didn't need to really work with it to get it to look good. HOWEVER, the crap never dries! Ever! Who would want to wear that? I laid my head on a pillow to watch TV and it was all over the pillow and my lashes were sticking out in weird directions because the mascara was still so wet and sticky. Also, I do not have sensitive eyes whatsoever. I've never had a problem with a mascara stinging but this stuff burns! And since its always wet and smudging everywhere, getting it in your eye is a sure thing. It's too bad because they did look good and it wasn't too expensive, but the cons are too much to deal with.
