This lotion is a wonderful light body lotion that has a cooling, refreshing fragrance that is not overpowering. I have received compliments when wearing it. Definitely recommended.

I usually don't enjoy using body lotion, because it leaves me feeling greasy and the scent is usually too strong. However, Aveda Rosemary Mint is the only one that I use, because it is non-greasy, makes my skin soft, and cools my skin after I smooth it on, leaving me feeling clean and refreshed.
The only drawback is that it is way too expensive for such a small bottle. Therefore, I use it sparingly daily so I don't waste it. Also, I personally love the smell of rosemary and mint, but if this scent combination bothers you, this is not the lotion for you.

This is a refreshing light lotion with a smooth light texture that aborbs well. The scent is a herbal and fresh, and good for a mental pick-me-up. Good to use when you're not wearing other perfume. I like the consistency and non-greasy feel but I find the scent a bit overpowering and clashes with perfume.

This lotion goes on very light and is very refreshing. Also, it absorbs very quickly into my skin. I started using the body wash & now use the whole line. My skin is normal & I don't need heavy/thick lotions. This lotion goes on light, smells for a very little while & then wears off so you don't go 'round smelling like Vicks VapoRub. I believe it's a little pricey so I wait for an AVEDA promotion for the extra pts. & then I purchase it. I've been using AVEDA products since 2005 & my experiences have been hit & miss, but this line is worthwhile. continued >>

I'm really amazed at the negative reviews because I LOVE this lotion. I love the smell. It reminds me of a strong mint tea. I've been using it almost every summer for many years because its so nice and invigorating. When its 110 degrees in Arizona, anything that invigorates the senses is a must!

The lotion is a little thicker than Aveda's other lotions, but it still goes on very light. I have dry skin and this provides the perfect amount of hydration. Those with very dry skin may not find this moisturizing enough though.

The one bad thing about this lotion is the price. Its quite pricey, $21, for 6.7 fl oz, but unfortunately I have yet to find a lotion that is even close so I continue to shell out for this one.

I also love the fact that its more natural than other lotions out there. Ingredients:
Aqueous Extracts (Water, Aqua Purifcata, Purified), Rosmarinus Officinalis Leaf Powder (Rosemary), Mentha Piperita Leaf (Peppermint), Aloe Barbadensis Leaf, Polyglyceryl 10 Oleate, Glyceryl Stearate, Coco Caprylate/Caprate, Isopropyl Palmitate, Dicaprylyl Maleate, Cetyl Alcohol, Corn Starch Modified, Hydroxypropyl Starch Phosphate, Glycerin, Dimethicone, Panthenol, Retinyl Palmitate, Alpha Glucan Oligosaccharide, Tocopherol, Capryloyl Glycine, PEG-100 Stearate, Xanthan Gum, Glyceryl Laurate, Polysorbate 60, Sucrose Distearate, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Menthol, Fragrance, Linalool, Limonene, Citric Acid, Sodium Gluconate, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Benzoate

I love the scent of the body wash, but the matching lotion smells awful! Medicinal and unpleasant!

I don't consider my skin super sensitive, but this product has given me a rash twice. The rash lasts for about a week, is super itchy, and resembles hives. I had to go get a cortisone shot after applying this lotion. This product smells great! It goes on smoothly and absorbs quickly. I wish I could use it.

I have used the body wash of this for a while and loved it. So recently I bought the matching body lotion. However today is day 4 of me using this lotion and I woke up neck to toe in a rash. I have not used it on my face and this is the only place I am not covered in itchy lumps. I did notice yesterday that my skin tingled for quite awhile after applying. Disappointed as I love the smell. Definitely will not by again.

I love everything about this product. It is great for me in the summer. It is light weight and I love the tingly feeling too! The smell is wondeful as well!

Too light of a moisturizer for my taste.

I adore the fragrance of this lotion - it is so fabulous! My bathroom smells like an aromatherapy spa after I've slathered this all over my body.
The lotion is very light, so it's not very useful if you have very dry skin. I find that in drier climates I have to reapply more often than with something like Curel or Keri lotion. The peppermint oil in the lotion also tingles on my skin and it feels really wonderful but I'm sure that this would be irritating to sensitive skin. This is definitely a luxury item for me since it certainly isn't the best lotion on the market but I will continue to purchase it because I love the fragrance so much!

I liked the way this product smelled and the way it just made my skin feel s-o soft! The only down side was that the menthol contained in the ingrediants made me a little light headed after applying it on my body. Which was bad because I felt like I was going to pass out. After using it for a couple of weeks I started to realize that there were tiny bumps forming on my arms, it didn't look like acne but when I stoped using it, the bumps stoped as well.
I would use it again only if it didn't re-act so badly with me. It sad because it was really great for a while.

I really love the smell of this lotion! It seems to last a while also. Nice and light but it does moisturize well.

Yes this is expensive- I think it's £18 for an ample bottle. What I like about it, and what makes it (*just*) worth the price, is how calming and refreshing it is. The mint is lovely and the rosemary balances out the sweetness, making it great for both guys and girls. A very light lotion- don't need to be waiting hours before getting dressed as it absorbs easily. However, there are better lotions out there. The Aveda replenishing body moisturiser is way better - try it out.

I had a sample size of this and I loved it! It smelled great, a minty scent, and moisturized well without leaving me feeling all greasy or nasty afterwards.

I love the rosemary mint shampoo, so I had to get this. I really liked it as a summer moisturizer. It is super light and absorbs quickly, so it isn't for dry skin days. It tingles quite a lot, and smells fantastic. However, it is fairly expensive ($20USD for 6.7 oz), so I use sparingly.
