I received this as a sample tube from Sample Society so I don't know the lasting results of this BB cream (as BB cream is supposed to improve the appearance of skin over time as well) but I can review it in terms of covering imperfections). The colour is supposed to adjust to anyone's skin tone but I have had bad luck with those in the past (Boscia's is terrible, turns skin orange). This is better but still might be too dark for a lot of people with fairer skin. I believe it would suit someone who is a NC40 best. I am NC35 and it blended into my skin OK, it was a tad dark and orange but didn't make me look like an Oompa-Loompa like the Boscia did. I liked the coverage and it felt moisturizing and gave me a decent glow. However, I'm still not a fan of colour-adjusting foundation/BB so I will stick with my Missha Perfect Cover for now.
This is the best Beauty Balm I have tried. Before this one came into my life, I really loved Smashbox's BB.
At first, I was weary of the Flextone. . . I have never been crazy for the low coverage of these. It is gray at first, not very appealing; but once it blends in, it is beautiful! I can understand how it is a little dark for fairer skin tones, it would be nice if there was another formula for very light skin since a true "all skin tones" formula is basically impossible, no matter what the product claims.
The glow is unbelievable, and long lasting. I wore this to the gym and glowed the whole time, all while feeling like I was makeup free. My skin looked so smooth, I just couldn't believe it. A Beauty Balm made my skin look as good as my full coverage foundation, I am all about it!

This product does everything it claims!
I have very temperamental skin. Went on the pill to help my break outs ... had to get off it as it darkened my pigmentation. I have an Oily t-zone but dry around the eyes.
Dr Brandt Flexitone is great to wear everyday as light coverage that evens out skin tone, it reduces the appearance of fine lines, helps protect against the sun as it's 30+ and does not make you look tired and dried out.
I can wear this through summer AND winter as the flexitone means it adjusts to whatever skin tone u have.
It suits my skin whatever mood it's in for the day - and believe me i have VERY moody skin. I usually wear Jane Iredale Powder over the top. When I go out i wear it underneath my Ellis Faas Skin Veil Foundation - this gives me perfect coverage.
Tip - give it a really good shake before applying and don't freak out at the colours that come out. Blend well and give it a few minutes to adjust as it needs to on your skin.
This is one of the only products I have eagerly purchased a second time.

This has been the best BB I have tried so far. It looks so good on, that I usually add nothing but some blush and I am set. It does seem to run dark so I use in summer when I am tan. It is not for fair skin! It also adds a "glow" which might not be what younger gals want but for more mature skin, it makes us look much healther. :-)

I received this as a sample. I had the full-size one on my shopping list at Sephora, and I'm glad I got to try this out first. It is supposed to adjust to the wearer's skin tone, but came out on me with a muddy grey cast...not an attractive look at all! So much for just using it alone on the days I don't want to do full makeup. However, when worn under a foundation, the BB cream does smooth and even the skin as well as provide a little extra coverage.
This BB cream is nothing special and definitely not worth the $39 price tag.
