I love this mascara!!!

Gives me full, thick and long lashes. Great part about it is that when I want to curl them, they actually hold!! LOVE IT!!! I GIVE IT A 10!!!!

I was told by the MAC sales person that this was the latest mascara they carried and stayed on long and didnt clump up. I admit it does stay on long but after a month it started to clump up in the tube. It began to leave lumps on my lashes and wasnt as smooth anymore. Pretty pricey too.

So far, I'm really liking this mascara - I've been using it for about a week, and I like that it does not smudge on me, most mascaras do. Usually I will put on a regular mascara I like and then coat with fibre wig mascaras, because they don't smudge on me either.
But with this one, I just use my MAC lash primer, then this, and go - great length and volume, and it stays put!

This mascara certainly does lengthen and add volume to a very significant degree, and doesn't smudge at all, even after 18+ hours of wear in extreme humidity. Despite this (or perhaps because of this?), the results I get are pretty unattractive for two or three reasons: my lashes clump together quite badly, and no amount of combing manages to remedy this; it makes your lashes look very hard and stiff - total spider legs, and unnatural in a bad rather than in a good way; and finally I struggle to get it to apply evenly - I end up with blobby deposits congregating which again don't seem to want to comb through. The clumpy, hard, spidery look is the worst.

I REALLY like this mascara! It gives me long and thick lashes and they retain softness and flexibility. I love the look.

Does smudge a bit easy.

This will be my go to mascara for the foreseeable future!

I didn't like this mascara. It was clumpy, didn't hold a curl, and really didn't do anything as far getting that "extreme" look.

I tried this product based on reviews I found on the internet about how great it was....don't believe it. I thought for the price $27.00 CDN it would be a very good mascara...once again expensive is not necessarily better. It wasn't the worst mascara I've ever tried, I would put it in the middle of the pack but for the price I expected something much better. It smudged easy, a number of the reviews said it clings to your lashes so well and has such a great brush you would only need one coat, not true. I found it made my lashes "spiky". My mascara of choice has always been lancome, and I think I'll stick to that, for the same price, its a better mascara.

Well today is the first day of using this mascara, so I'll be sure to post updates if needed down the road. I find that mascaras either age well or not, so we'll see how this one does...however, read on for my initial thoughts...

I used this for the first time this morning and I think I'm hooked. The packaging is chic. I love the shape of the bottle and MAC in white letters. The brush is plastic with spikes all over it, including the tip which makes getting corners a snap. It's also great for those who apply mascara vertically. The brush is a little big for my liking, but not to where it's totally cumbersome like Dior Show or Lash Blast. It's also got 3 reservoirs filled with mascara, so you can slowly spin the brush as you apply to get all the product off the brush to avoid re-dipping more than needed. The formula is perfect IMO. It's a thicker mascara, so it's not watery. It's also not too dry either, so you can wait about a minute in between coats w/out having to worry you won't be able to work the brush through your lashes. I don't care for the smell, but who cares about that. It retails for $20. I have been wearing it for 5 hours and have not had any flaking. Seems to hold curl well. Volume and Length. No clumps. I'm sort of a mascara junkie, so I'm always trying new ones, but I will probably buy again...especially since I get a PRO discount and end up only paying $14 for this.
UPDATE: I love this stuff. AMAZING! Enough said.
2nd UPDATE: While I still do love this mascara, I don't think it ages well. It worked great the first 4-5x or so, but now it's just 'meh'. But this might not be the case for everyone, so be careful of reviewers who advise you to "not believe" other positive reviews. All you can do is try it for yourself.
FINAL verdict: Still liking it, but unfortunately I am having to clean off the brush whenever I use it b/c of the clumps. One lippie off for that. Overall a nice mascara that does provide lift and volume and separation with a nice brush. But it ages too fast and gets clumpy in the tube.

M·A·C's lightweight whipped formula saturates lashes root to tip, adds volume, extends length and creates curl, while conditioning for softness and flexibility. The final result: extreme dimension that won't smudge, clump or flake.

I like Mac mascaras. False Lashes is my favorite, but I like Opulash, Plush Lash, Studio Fix Lash, & now In Extreme Dimension.
It has a plastic bristled brush with bristles that go all around the tip of the brush to grab all of those corner lashes.
It goes on smoothly. Stays all day with no flakes or smearing. It washes off easily with my Shiseido The Skincare Extra Gentle Cleansing Cream.
I like the tube, too. It's black with Mac printed all over the base of the tube in white. I think it's pretty. :}
