Unfortunately, I just chucked this eyeliner pen. The good stuff: 1) the felt tip is super fine 2) it's cheap, costs only $4 in Australia. The bad stuff: heaps of them - 1) the tip of the pen is too soft that you might do an accident flick if it bends 2) the eyeliner stains the eyelid so bad that you can't get it out even with the best waterproof remover, but the stain seems to disappear after a couple of days 3) the ink doesn't flow out smoothly so you would have to go back on the line again and again.

Will not repurchase.

This eyeliner is a bit tricky at first and the tip is a bit soft so you need to be quite steady handed. It gives a lovely solid black colour on my complexion and lasts all day. It does run a bit dry halfway during an application, which is a bit annoying, so be sure to work quick with this liner. Dries quickly and doesn't budge/ smudge even without a primer. So far I would purchase again.

Love this product! It stays waterproof almost all day, so i dont have to worry about smudging eyeliner. Great quality and i will definately be buying this product again :)

i read alot of reviews for Essence so i decided to try their products. I was at Shoppers and saw the essence section and saw this new superfine eyeline pen. I picked one up and drew a line on my hand just to try it out. I quickly rubbed it as soon as i drew, and it didnt smudge. So i thought it was a really good product. then i went over to the cosmetic section to look for remover to remove the line. I tried 4 different make up remover which have known to be great for waterproof makeup, and the line was still there, i was actually worried so i did not end up buying it and i am glad, because the line stayed for 2 days. i wonder what wouldve happened to my eye lids.

Amazing for its price : nice black line and REALLY easy to use.However, to remove it....my cotton pad was PURPLE, my lids and face stained...took me a lot of time and Bioderma to remove it.I'll repurchase if I can find an amazing eye makeup remover.

I love the design of this eyeliner and it performs so well, but it stains my lids like no other. The tip is very very sharp and it's so easy to create a precise wing with it, I've been using gel and cream eyeliners for the last two years and couldn't believe how much easier using this pen is. The color is not waterproof (it doesn't claim to be) but once it dries it is kind of smudge proof but rubbing your eyes still might not be the best idea. I don't have oily lids though so perhaps I am not the best test subject. I've had it for two months and the color is as dark and pigmented as it was on the first use, there's no crumbling and flaking, in that way it is much much better than the e.l.f. eyeliner which sometimes stops working after a week or seems nearly empty even on the first use.
The only problem with this eyeliner, and unfortunately it is a big one, is that even after using baby oil and Bioderma to remove it my lids are still noticeably darker/greener, it seems to be particularly hard to remove near the lashline where the color is probably the most concentrated. Maybe this wouldn't be so noticeable on darker skin tones but on my NW15 skin it looks pretty disgusting. I will buy again if I find a remover than can completely remove the product but if I don't I definitely wouldn't repurchase this.
