I am not a fan of marker liners but this is definitely my favorite marker liner, The tip is thick so not the easiest for thin lines but it is possible...The formula is good and long lasting and is relatively matte.
I LOVE THIS EYELINER SO MUCH!
This is my absolute, favorite eyeliner of all time and I have went on the longest quest to find one like this.
I was fortunate by finding out about this eyeliner due to an old subscription I had with glambag/ipsy and that was the only good product that I received from the subscriptions.
I love how versatile this eyeliner is. Of course practice makes perfect, but you can do a thin or thick line depending on your technique. I love using this eyeliner for the cat eye look.
I do tend to get oily lids and this product does not budge even through all-day wear, plus some accidental naps. BUT the wonderful thing about this is that it can budge, if you want it to. These next few sentences will be a horrible thing I am admitting to: I cannot get my eyeliner wing perfect every, single time. So during the times where it does go wrong, I simply just use my finger (a q-tip when I have them around) to smear/remove some of it and redraw. It won't budge from wear, but it will budge if you need it to. It's perfect!
I will continue to repurchase as long as they continue to sell this product.
I must have the greasiest eyelids in the world. I couldn't find any eyeliner that wouldn't make me look like a raccoon in a few hours. I'm lame too.... had a hard time doing the wing thing UNTIL I received my Ipsy bag and there was a Be a Bombshell eyeliner in Onyx. I looked at it and thought I'll try it but didn't have high hopes at all. Lo and behold I did not have raccoon eyes for at least 12 hours!!!!! I was able to do the wing thing too!!! It was AMAZING! I can't say enough good stuff about this. Their customer service is awesome also. I loved the onyx so much I ordered the espresso. It was dried out. I emailed CS and they sent me another one. No questions asked. No other eyeliner for me. I'm tossing out the Bobby Brown gel liner and all others.
I love this in Onyx so much, I have already repurchased it! It's the first felt-tip liner that actually goes on glossy black, and the point is fine enough to either make a very thin line or a dramatic cat eye with ease. I shake it a little prior to use, and it never goes on too dry. My trick is to hold it sideways and just kind of press it in to the base of my lashes first, then I go back over in the opposite direction to make a straight line. This liner makes it so simple, dries in a flash, never smears, and acts like it's waterproof. Awesome in every way.
This is a great liquid liner to do a "cat eye" or the "winged" look; basically anything "bombshell" like the name of the brand. The color I have is called "Onyx" which is pure black. It does seem to dry right away when you put it on, so if you are not skilled at putting on liquid liners, or if you are intimidated by liners that actually show up on the lids, I would go with a pencil or a color that is more muted or neutral, no offense. Hey, it took me a long time to perfect putting eyeliner on, and I still make mistakes.
I will share a little trick that I have been doing for years now when it comes to doing the top lid: I put my base shade on FIRST, then I apply whatever eyeliner I will be wearing on top, then my lid shade. In other words, if my eyeliner went on smudgy, too thick, uneven, etc, it now looks like a perfect line with the shadow covering up just at the edge of the line all the imperfections and also makes it look like you went in on the actual line instead of just the top or edge of the lashes. It always works well for me. And if you do end up needing more on the top, then it's easier to do a more even line. I don't know, it's just something that works for me. Thought I would share that with everybody.
But anyways, this is a very good liner, and "Onyx" is a basic, classic black. You can never go wrong with black liner.
