Not impressed. I heard a lot of great things about this liner from different reviews but sadly it did not live up to the hype. I have been using gel eyeliner for about two years now but I am still having issues with doing cat eyes so I thought I would try out this liquid liner. The good: the color is nice and very black, the pen is easy to hold and it's cheaper than most gel liners. The bad: The tip is just too long and stiff, not flexibility at all. The color smudges and doesn't last as long as a gel liner, granted I do have oily lids but I always use a primer. It does not flow very smoothly so it can be a hassle trying to get a even line and working with the tip can be awkward. All in all you would be better off buying a drugstore liquid, like Loreal's Lineur intense, for much cheaper and the same results. Not a terrible liner but not a great one either.

Pros:
- great pigmentation
- easy to use in pen form
- comes in variety of different colours
- easy to remove with makeup remover
- great beginner liner to work on the wing
- great packaging

Cons:
- expensive
- not waterproof - will run with water

I got this in a Birchbox awhile back and finally got around to testing it out. Must say that I am loving it. Love how easy it is to use for everyday where I don't have to think about it. With packaging and the pen, it takes no time for me to do my wing eyeliner. Its exactly like a felt tip marker with perfect firmness to apply your eyeliner. i find that you can simply turn the pen on its side and dab on your eye lid if you have not perfected your eyeliner technique. Only downfall is that it is expensive.

This is, without a doubt, the greatest eyeliner I have ever use. I suck at using liquid liners of any kind, but this stuff is gold. The color is great, I can apply it with ease, and I can do an awesome winged look with it. I took off one lippie because it dries out pretty quickly, but I doubt I ever go back to anything else. I will only be using another product for the bottom waterline. If liquid liners/pens/gels/creams are hard for you, this is absolutely fool-proof. Try it out!

For so long I was looking for the perfect black eyeliner and when I found this product I found everything I was looking for, The color is great the tip of the liner is just perfect and I love how unlike most liquid eyeliners it's not very wet and it doesn't mess up your makeup, I just love this product!

This stuff was pretty good! It was highly pigmented, lasted all day but came off easily with makeup remover, and the pen tip made it easy to do winged liner with. However, I found this dries out very quickly, which put me off after having to throw it away a few weeks after I got it. Because of that, I won't be buying this product again.

i'm actually quite torn about this product. i have a love-hate relationship with it. i would give it a 3.5 rating if it were possible. let me list out the pros and cons of this liner first.

PROs:
~ inky black colour
~ waterproof and longwearing (no smudging or fading)
~ easy to remove (with makeup remover of course)

CONs
~ not very smooth application
~ cap is a little hard to remove (not sure if it's just mine)

now to actually talk about my experience with this liner. this is the first liquid liner that is truly smudgeproof and fadeproof on me AND easy to remove. i've tried Lancome's Artliner and L'Oreal's Lineur Intense (or Super Liner in some countries), and while quite good, would always smudge and/or fade at the outer corners of my eyes, even with eyeshadow primer. GOSH's Art Liner and MAC's Liquid Last both have amazing staying power, but take forever to remove (well, i did say they both have AMAZING staying power), even with waterproof eye makeup remover. my HG liquid liners, Kiss Me Heroine Make Smooth Liquid Eyeliner and Koji Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner, don't smudge (or flake) on me, but the outer corners (or my 'wings') always fade ~ they simply disappear! not with the Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner. with the Skinny Eyeliner, my 'wings' stay. this is the first liquid liner that doesn't budge, smudge, or fade on me, yet is easy to remove. no rubbing or tugging. just a gentle press, wait (about 30 seconds), and swipe of waterproof eye makeup remover (Walmart's dual phase one is pretty good) or a gentle massage of cleansing oil and rinse, and gone. for that, i love it!

however, i find the application to be patchy at times, and the overall application is not really smooth. for example, if i happen to miss a spot, for some reason if i try to go over that spot, it ends up scraping away some of the already applied liner and doesn't apply any fresh liquid, even though the sponge is saturated like a previous reviewer said. that, i do not like. i end up having to go over the liner again with my Heroine Make or my Dolly Wink liner.

for now, i probably will repurchase this, because i like that it has staying power but still easy to remove, but yeah, i'm still really on the fence with this product.

I got the liner in the skinny mini set along with the mascara, and it was on sale, so I didn't pay full price for the thing. I'm surprised at some of the reviews stating it's not a deep black, because mine is a true deep black, and I always have issues with black liners on my brown skin and slightly discolored eyelids. And that's really the only thing I like about the liner, the color. It is otherwise a miserable pen style liner. The tip is very stiff and is not flexible at all, which makes me feel like I am drawing on the liner with a marker. Something about the texture of the felt tip causes it to drag on the skin, even when it's saturated with product, so application isn't smooth. The stiffness of the tip (ahahah, I'm twelve years old) is good if you like to tightline with liquid liner, but tightlining is probably a bad idea, because it smudges after 3-4 hours of use. I do have oily lids, so that's usually a concern for me anyway. I had significant smudging on my lower lid after an 8-hour workday. Won't be repurchasing.

Overrated--Not that great

I heard great things about this liquid eyeliner on youtube. Unfortunately its just not as black and sharp as people said it was. The liner is grey and watered down, and only comes out black and sharp if you apply a lot of pressure. It has a sponge tip applicator and it just doesn't deliver a very black line at all. I prefer Stila all-day liquid liner for now, it is way blacker and more precise. I am still looking for a HG. Will try Dollywink next.

Out of my massive arsenal of eye liners THIS is the BEST eye liner hands down. It is so easy to make a precise cat eye for me (goofproof for me but I am a pro at creating cat eye with all sorts of liner styles so ymmv). The color is a true deep black and really stays true for hours and hours. Its the blackest eye liner I have! It truly is smudgeproof. Although I am not a big fan of this type of marker/pen liner because they do tend to dry up quickly I would buy this often because of the outstanding formula and color. So far I have gotten 7 good uses out of my pen which to me is impressive after using several drugstore brands which dried up after the 1st use. $16 on birchbox website which isnt too bad of a price.

I'm surprised at how low the ratings are. I think this is an awesome liner.
I use Nars Pro Prime eye shadow base so there is minimal smudging and stays on all day. When I don't use the pro prime, then the liner starts fading at hour five. It doesn't smudge though. It just fades a little on the outer corner.
I just love how easy it is to apply this thing. The felt tip allows me to be super precise. Since my eyelids aren't very big, I like to make a very thin line on the top. This allows me to do that.
