If Jolie Madame and Armani Prive Cuir Amethyste married, this would be their child. There's the light violet/floral topnote that I only rarely like, with a touch of green leaves. In the base, leather. A light, birch-tar, vanillia-infused leather, the same as in CA, but softer.
This is Cuir Amethyste/Jolie Madame for summer, a lighter, more floating version. The notes, per Fragrantica, don't list leather and do list tuberose. Poppycock. This is gardenia/tuberose only in the same way that Jolie Madame is violet, which is to say it's a sort of amalgamum gardenia/white floral that rounds up to a feel of violet. But this is no Fracas. The main feel is soft leather and florals, quite beautiful.
