I will be honest and say I have never tried any of the BB creams before this one and I'm not really interested in them. My sister was given this product and I loved how it appeard on her so I purchased one for myself. Since I cannot compare it to other BB creams I can't say if it meets the criteria but I can say it's a very very good tinted moisturizer. It comes in only two shades which will be an issue for people with very light or dark skin. For those in between, the colors available should adapt once applied. I use the lighter shade and even though it first appears too light it adapts to my skin tone perfectly when blended. It blends beautifully! I am surprised that so many reviewers had an issue with blending and product not sinking in because I find this quite the opposite! It also hydrates really good making any dry patches you'd might have virtually non detectable. No foundation I've ever tried managed to do this and this property is what I like the most about this product.
Coverage is light but it reflects the light in a way that the skin tone looks more even out than you'd expect from a low coverage product and it creates that dewy look, not shiny, just the right amount of dewy. It also slightly blures the pores out. If I'd have to use one word to describe the look this gives you, I'd say it makes you look healthy!
One reviewer said that this does not include sunblock which is not true - it has an SPF of 20.
One lippie less is for the inclusion of alcohol and chemical sunblock which I'm personally not a fan of, and for only two shades being available.

very light but effective. so natural. as a man, it keeps calm of your shaved skin toned your irritations and gives natural youthful glow but
it's not long lasting

Very unimpressed with this product. The colour never properly blended to my skin (I used the light and it was too dark) and even when I used a teeny tiny amount it was a cakey mess. The moisturizer was too thick for my combination skin and gave me a shiny appearance and it never absorbed, it felt like it just sat on top of my skin the whole time. In certain areas it would dry strangely and I would get this peeling/flakey mess. I've never had that happen with any other BB cream.

The most disappointing thing was that it has no SPF like any other BB cream. Especially with how popular their sunscreens are. I felt like that was a money grab.

I love LRP products and use a lot of them. So I was excited when their BB Creme came out. Alas, it was not meant to be and I gave it to my cousin.

The pros to this cream are:
-in texture and coverage it is the closest to a traditional BB cream and not really a glorified TM
-the lightest shade is a decent enough color match for my NC15 skin
-the ingredients are not irritating at all on my sensitive skin

However, this cream has one big con for me: it did not blend into my skin at all. I could simply just rub it off of my face. It transferred onto clothing, onto my hands, onto pieces of paper at work, all over my makeup brushes- just brushing up against something was enough for it all to come off. I haven't had a face product rub off like that since a foray into cheap foundation in junior high. At the end of the day it would be patchy wherever I had touched my face that day or dared to apply powder. I tried for a couple of weeks, blaming the weather, blaming the use or non-use of primer, blaming my skincare regimen, but nothing made this stuff stay on my face. It simply would not stay put. My skin is extremely dry, so I can't even blame oil.

I gave it two lippies anyway because if you powder up (clean your puff afterwards though) and don't touch your clothes or your face it does work, but out of almost 400 reviews this is one of the maybe ten or so I will not rebuy.

I really like this bb cream. I usually don't use moisturising foundations because I like more coverage but this has quite a nice coverage for a bb cream. It smells amazing and feels lovely on the skin. I have super dry skin so I stick a very light moisturiser underneath but if your skin is not so dry it should be fine. The colour rage is pretty rubbish. Luckily the light one is a good match for me but you could always get both shades and mix. I prefer this to the Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser which doesn't make any difference to my skin at all it's so thin. I would recommend this to anyone. I was after a nice moisturising 'no make up' foundation to stick on in a rush and I found it!

I don't know why 3 stars only. Maybe I haven't try other bb creams... I really like it, it gives a nice finish to my face, the light shade lightens my skin in a pleasant way. It feels very soft hydrating an penetrates the skin easily. The only issue that I found is that I have enlarged pores and dry skin on my nose and the cream looks a little cakey when applied there, and clogges my pores. All in all, I am pretty happy with the results. I will definitely buy again, La Roche makes good products.

I have combination to oily skin and I bought the colour in fair. It looks a little dark on my fair skin, so they should definetly have more shades. Also I find that this product leaves my face shiny, probably something that get fixed with finishing powder but that kind of spoils the bb cream's philosophy of beign able to just put that on it's own. It is light coverage, so it's fine for skins that don't have acne, pimple, black spots... if you do you need a concealer. I don't think it was bad but I will definetly try a diferent BB cream. Most people say it's pricey but I don't think it's too expensive. Less than 20 euroes.

Will I repurchase it? Maby. Since I live in Europe, the BB drugstore/pharmacists range isn't somenthing: Loreal, Deborah & Garnier, and newly LRP.
I am NC25-30 so the light version is a little bit too fair, and the medium is a little bit too dark. I've purchased the fair version, which makes my face skin look 1-2 shades lighter. The darker version would be more suitable for the summer period after tanning. If it were cheaper, I would porchase both versions and mix them together.
The cream itself isn't bad. It feels good on skin, doesn't clog pores (have been using it for the past month) and is definetly better than Garnier's (both all skin types and oily/combo versions). Leaves a feeling like you're taking good care of your skin. Because ot the mismatched color, I use it as a base (onece, twice a day). Here are my pros&cons:

Pros:
Leaves a hydrating, caring, mouisturizing feeling
Nourushing
Staying power (4-5 hrs) - could be better but I have oily-to-very-oily skin
Doesn't cake, clog pores
Doesn't cause new breakouts
Makes better face apearance (smooth & silky look)

Cons:
One inbetween color/shade extra wouldn't hurt (a true medium)
My face starts to shine after few hours, so I have to pat with pressed powder
Like a tinted moistruizer (light, sheer coverage). If you have redness or acne you def need to put a concealer.
I couldn't layer (wrong shade) to get better coverage

I had 4 individual samples of this BB Creme in the color "light". (it also comes in medium) For my skin, it was just a somewhat thick, moisturizing foundation. I tried it 4 different ways:

*on a clean face with no other products... I definitely can not use just this for my sunscreen. It is SPF 20 and the sample was 1 ml (1/5 teaspoon). I could only get maybe half of it on my face....too thick. The amount I used looked and felt OK...but not enough protection and definitely not full coverage.

*over an antioxidant serum.....the BB creme did not soak in well and emphasized my pores on my nose and chin.

*over Olay Complete Moisturizer with sunscreen for sensitive skin. (spf 15) Only used what I needed of the BB creme....light coverage and felt fine....used a finishing powder over it

*over the ss I will be using for the winter (LRP Anthelios Spf 30 melt-in cream) Same as with the Olay....light coverage and felt fine...I let both the Olay and the Anthelios SS sink into my skin before applying the BB creme....used a finishing powder over it

It may be fine for other skin types, especially as a creamy foundation.....but if you are looking for an all-in-one product, it did not work for me
