Shopping at another Sephora, an SA that didn't know decided to give me a very generous sample of this, extolling the delights of it. Oh, how she didn't know me at all.
To begin with, I really dislike the scent of roses implicitly. (As she's stuffing the samples in my bag and telling me about the product I didn't ask for, I could only imagine it's going to my daughter.)
So I brought it home and smelled it. Ugh. You must like roses to like the product. That's the beginning.
I decided to try it on for a few minutes to see if I could stand it. It burned like h*ll. I have no idea why.My skin turned bright red. I'm not a person that has allergies to products. My reviews never are about reactions to products, because I don't have sensitive skin.
This product made my skin red and started this burning immediately. You're supposed to wear it overnight. I couldn't get past 20 minutes.
It's supposed to repair fine lines, hydrate, and brighten. I couldn't leave it on and use it enough times to see if it does.
It is a very light creamy texture that does goes on evenly. But it stinks like roses. If you like roses, then that's ok. But I don't want to smell them that strongly all night, either. Not something I will ever purchase.
Note alcohol is #6 and 7 and further down. Here's the ingredients so you can decide if it has good stuff:
Water (Eau), Glycerin, Glyceryl Stearate Citrate, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Triheptanoin, Alcohol, Behenyl Alcohol, Isodecyl Neopentanoate, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Beeswax (Cera Alba), Glyceryl Stearate, Imperata Cylindrica Root Extract, Lecithin, Acacia Decurrens/Jojoba/Sunflower Seed Wax Polyglyceryl–3 Esters, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Fragrance (Parfum), Distarch Phosphate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Rosa Canina Fruit Oil, Rosa Rubiginosa Seed Oil, Tetrahydrodiferuloylmethane, Galactoarabinan, Xanthan Gum, Rosa Canina Flower Extract, Sodium Hydroxide, Acrylates/C10–30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Sodium Gluceptate, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Sterols, Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate, Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Carbomer, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice Powder.

i'm actually on the fence about whether or not i would purchase this again, but i'll say yes for now.

PROs
this cream/treatment is really hydrating. my skin is the softest it has ever been ~ baby's butt soft, i kid you not. when i washed my face the first morning after i tried this, i could not stop touching and poking my cheeks. i have combination skin, and i used this every night for the past month with no problems. it makes a great winter night cream.

CONs
i bought this primarily for its 'brightening', however, i saw no difference in my skintone whatsoever, which is a real bummer. also, the scent is really strong and (i apologize if i offend anyone) kinda like an old lady. like, this smells like something that belongs on my grandma. when i woke up, it smelled like something old and musty (i have a relatively sensitive nose, so that's why i could still smell something when i woke up). finally, the price: it is steep, and considering the product didn't do what i had hoped it would do, i'm not entirely sure it's worth it.

however, the fact that it has made my skin uber soft, i do think it is worth considering repurchasing.

Wow, can you say fire on the skin?!
I had the worst reaction to the product. I can use a lot of products and rarely react to anything. Tca peels , glycolic etc.
But this one gave me numb lips and welts. Skin was on fire and swollen by 5am. I awoke in pain from it.
Clearly I am allergic to some of the botanicals. So if you react to botanicals be aware of this one.
I needed cortisone and Benadryl after this one. Swiftly returned. Still 16 hours later my face is on fire and itchy.

I bought this last year when it FIRST came out, there werent even any reviews on sephora but I just knew this product was going to be fab. the vitamin C and brightening factors are what got me to buy this. This is like a spa in a tub for at home.
- I recommend that you cleanse and exfolaite really well before using this or else your face will get greasey.
- My mistake was using this every night. This is a VERY hydrating and rich cream. I have oily skin and I sometimes would have to wipe off excess product on my tzone cause I am combo skin. So i learned after finishing my tub that I literally only needed a little bit and every other day at most.
- This DID in fact brighten my skin, improved the overall texture.
- i didn't mind paying the $62 CAD on this because I knew this was going to be a HG product
- I'm currently not using this but will repurchase. I'm using Origin's Nightamins and this is more of an every night basic cream with nutrients and vitamins, with a citrus scent which I love.
- I recommend that everyone at least go to sephora and ask for a few samples of this cream.

smells like buttery roses-very strong fragrance, dissipates after 30 minutes. texture is quite nice, kind of a "dry" cream, definitely not oily & i like that its natural (2 stars for those reasons). woke up the next morning w/2 clogged white heads, one around my mouth and the other on my forehead. didn't feel that my face was any brighter the next day...so returned. continued >>

First off.... I work for Sephora...not the brand...I get ALOT of products to try for free. This is one of VERY few items in the entire store that I have purchased myself. I sample this to every client in skin care bc it's that GOOD. I use this every other night. I put it on after any serums I choose to use that night. My skin looks brighter and fresher when I wake up in the morning, like a had a relaxing facial. I have had clients stop and wait for me to finish with someone to tell me how much they adored the sample and came back the next day to buy it! It's that good! I wish it was in a pump, after learning about packaging and sanitation I would always wish for an airless pump over a jar. Go and get a sample, you will not be disappointed!

First of all, I got this product in a kit from Sephora that contained full-size products of the "Wild Rose + Vitamin C Advanced Brightening Sleeping Facial" and Wild Rose Exfoliating Cleanser" on SALE FOR $28 from Sephora. I felt that I was getting a bargain so I purchased the kit, even though I was happy with what I had been currently using: the Origins Nite-A-Mins facial cream.

I've been using this facial cream at night for a week now, and when I wake up, I actually see VISIBLE results. I have oily skin but this product hasn't clogged my pores or broken me out. I don't know if I would shell out $48 to re-purchase but I am enjoying using it. I like the smell of roses so I adore the smell.

If you are looking for a lightweight, brightening, and moisturizing night cream, I would highly recommend. The only reason why I gave this is a 4 is because of its price point.

Awesome product for anyone looking to brighten and hydrate their skin by morning. I personally like the scent of this product, although a number of people find the rose fragrance off putting. However, if you can get past that, this cream is super rich yet lightweight enough that even combination and mildly oily skin types can benefit from its use. Make sure you only use a very thin layer however, a little goes a long way with this one

I personally like the smell of roses . Kind of more of an aromatherapy product vs a skin are didn't change the texture of my skin.... But felt like butter n smelled nice. Found its nice to apply before or after a nice hot bath.

Smells terrible and feels kind of thick and heavy on the skin. I noticed no improvement in my skin condition.
