Yes! This is great & CHEAP & works, can't ask for more than that really! Limited colours but I find the palest (Ivory i think) works fine for me, gives excellent coverage used as a concealer or under eyes. It's not at all drying which is a must for me.
I lent it to my colleague and she had no idea what it was called - then a couple of days after she asked me for "that concealer that makes me look awake" so I think that's a pretty good indication that it does what it's supposed to.
I have one knocking around in the bottom of most of my bags now just in case. A great essential.
It blends well but it isn't full coverage like it says on it. I have to put 4-6 coats on for it to cover my dark under eyes.
Overall, a really great concealer. Nice consistency, coverage is around medium concealing dark circles and any redness on my face. The shade range however is horrible, I am very fair and there just isn't a shade that is truly light enough so i have to blend alot with this stuff and apply it before my foundation. For hygiene reasons I would have also preferred if it came in a squeeze tube rather than a wand.
Felt this was way too light, came off way too quickly! It was £5.49 from Boots and I really regret buying it! I have previously used the cheapest concealers and found they've worked better!
However I did like the applicator thing!
I have this in "Very Fair" it's a pale neutral/yellow tone...perfect for my very pale skin with redness. I'm lucky I don't have a lot of darkness under my eyes so I don't need much coverage...just a bit of brightening up. Don't get this if you need lots of coverage, it's pretty light...maybe you could layer it for almost medium. I used it to cover a few pink marks from past acne and it did alright...again not a ton of coverage. It went on under my eyes nice and smooth even though I have dryness and some peeling this week from Retin A Micro.
This concealer is beyond amazing don't think I can live without it, but I do not recommend using it on blemishes because it contains light reflecting ingredients that give radiance, which will accentuate the look of your pimples and make them glow and no one wants that.
I don't have very dark undereye circles so I've never really bothered with undereye concealers, but after reading all the rave reviews on MUA, I decided to give this a try and see if the anti-fatigue claim is really true. For reference, I have slightly puffy eyes with some darkness around the eye area.
I live in the Netherlands, where this product and many others are not available. So I had to rely on reviews to pick a colour and buy online. Depending on where you live/buy this product from, the shades are named differently, which is kind of annoying for online shopping. To save other MUAers some time, I'll quickly summarize. In the UK, the shades are Ivory, Classic Beige, Soft Beige, and True Ivory, and in the US, they are Very Fair, Very Fair/Light, Light, Light/Medium, and Medium. Amazon UK and Europe has the US products while ASOS sells the UK ones. By comparing the colours online, I think that Very Fair=Ivory (yellow undertone), Very Fair/Light=Classic Beige (peach undertone), Light/Medium=Soft Beige (pink undertone) approximately. Because ASOS does free delivery worldwide and is cheaper (£3), I opted for Soft Beige for my medium skin.
I really like the orange packaging, and I haven't noticed a strong scent either. As for the concealer itself, it's very good for the undereye area, but I would not recommend it for blemishes. The consistency is in between a cream and a liquid, so it's too runny to cover blemishes well. It also doesn't layer very well as too much product looks cakey, so stick to the undereye area. It dabs on and blends out nicely on the thin skin without much tugging and pulling. It does seem to brighten up the area a lot, but I find that it settles into the fine lines. With a setting powder, this concealer will stay put for many hours. I wore it for 8 hours, and it looked as if it has just been applied. I have pretty sensitive skin and haven't broken out from this product so far.
I purchased the shade Very Fair 125 which is a really good match for my skin. I also like the doe foot applicator. As for the formula, it is on the thin side, and therefore can only be built up to about medium coverage, if that. I only use it underneath my eyes, which it works well for, but if you have very dark circles to cover, I think something more full-coverage will be needed. The consistency is nicely creamy though, and it blends out very well without dragging. The finish is slightly dewy, with no shimmer. I have not noticed it settling into any lines or creasing in any way. As for covering blemishes elsewhere on the face, this did not do the job, since it barely covered and even looked a bit flaky once it was blended. So I'm strictly sticking to undereye use.
I do think that this concealer can be difficult to find. I have not seen it in any drugstore or big box store in my area since it was released. The only place I was able to track it down was a Kmart across town. But for the price though, it is very decent.
Very good for covering my deep purple and creased under-eye circles. A bit greasy after application but it dries matte. I wouldn't use it on the face though, because of the salmon undertones.
Also, is it strange that half the reason I love this is because a bit on my lips with some sheer pink gloss gives me the perfect nude? I don't care. I love it.
I live in New Zealand, where for the price of a high end product in the USA, you could get your typical maybelline or revlon product for the same price in New Zealand. I opt to shopping online from USA sites for makeup, because its cheaper, not minding that I have to pay a few dollars extra for shipping and waiting bit longer for my product. Usually I do my research on a product before shelling out and buying it, but I added this to my beautyjoint cart on a whim.
When I first tried out this product, I thought it was alright. A bit on the dark side for my fair skin tone, but I knew in a couple months in the spring time I would tan up and it would match nicely, I still continued to use it with a matching powder so it wasnt overly obvious.
I used this as an under eye concealer and on my blemishes, and in under an hour it had faded and I looked like a pizza zombie all over again.
The packaging isnt very nice, the stickers are peeling off and the tube is sticky, it has no lasting power whatsoever, its too dark on me (my fault though), but it lasted quite a while.
I was very impressed with the Wake Me Up foundation but the concealer just didnt do it for me
