Beautiful colour, and so easy to wear. It's a sheer red, that doesn't lean too pink, nor plum, nor brown. It's not a va-va-voom vixen red, more like a daytime, low-key red. I think it's beautiful and would be easy to wear for brunettes and blondes alike.

This is a a very sheer and moisturizing red without being too overpowering. With subtle pink-silvery shimmer in it, your teeth look whiter. No orange in this at all. Really pretty color! Stays on longer when I prime with eye concealer, liner, a layer of lipstick, powder, and then another layer of lipstick on top. A very polished look that photographs well.

MAC Fire Sign is a lipstick that came out with the Heavenly Creatures Collection earlier this summer. As a Lustre, it has a semi-sheer finish and the color can be built up to be more pigmented and vibrant. It's a sheer red that can be worn every day. This lipstick is for those who are looking to wear a red lip but don't want too strong or opaque of a color or are looking for a nice alternative to a classic red lipstick. Fire Sign is a wearable, less intimidating red with a hint of pink. I would actually give it 4.2 or 4.3 stars.
