I was 13 when I purchased this and during that age I was just experimenting with a cheaper variety of cosmetics like BYS. Here in Australia, the BYS Longwear Lipstick is $3.95. Its a good colour stain, very pigmented but feels strange on the lips. I also didn't have this product for long when I left it in my makeup bag and it melted (but maybe because the Australian weather is very hot? but then again, I have other lipsticks from Maybelline, Savvy and Shisheido which survives the heat!). I think if you were doing DIYs like making your own lipsticks/coloured lipgloss etc or using it for Halloween - it would be a good choice. Cheap and reasonably good. I just wish it didn't melt so fast so I had to throw it away and not try it again :c

I have ticked that I would rebuy, but I wish MUA had a Maybe box to tick. BYS is a cheap makeup range available in Australia and available online and in some $2+ type stores. The Long Wear lipstick comes in about 10 colors, most of which are quite pretty. The packaging is a tall black tube topped off with a clear cap, containing a slim lipstick which comes to a rounded sloping tip. However these are definitely not long wearing. The rounded sloping tip makes it easy to get a well defined lipline but the lipstick remains greasy and easy to smudge, even after waiting 10 minutes for it to dry to a long wear finish. I have found the only way to wear this lipstick is to blot twice, taking most of it off, leaving behind just a stain. If I do this I am left with a really pretty pinky red stain that wears well for several hours. Don't expect this to be a vibrant lipstick. Don't expect it to be long wearing, and don't expect it to look the same on your lips as is does in the tube, simply because the blotting takes so much of it off. These may look a lot like the old Revlon Longwear because of the packaging, but they are nothing like it. In this case you get what you pay for. I may repurchase simply because when blotted to a stain, the resulting colour is really pretty for an easy to wear daytime look.
