I was kinda sceptical about this product when I first saw it advertised in my favorite magazine. I am surprised at all of the negative reviews, but I think the last reviewer is right. This is NOT geared towards girls with fine or thin hair, all that oil will weigh it down and make it feel greasy. I also agree with another reviewer who recommended spraying the product into your hand and distributing it that way. A little goes a veeeeeerrrrrry long way; did I say very? Anyway, I used this both when my hair was wet and on dry hair as it says to do in the directions. Both methods made my hair feel soft, smooth and look very light and shiny. I have to say I am impressed, though I would tell anyone, regardless of their hair type, use this very sparingly. Since my hair tends towards dryness, I would be careful, as this contains quite a bit of alcohol; it is one of the first few ingredients. I would not recommend spraying near the roots, as it will def. make the hair look and feel greasy. I think the key to using this product with success is to use it sparingly, and rubbing in the hand to distribute which will give you more control. I am really impressed with this product and will update later.
I have very dry, brittle, over processed hair, and this spray has been a life saver!! It makes my hair feel soft again. I can see why others with naturally straight or fine hair would have issues with this product, because i used it on my daughter's hair (who is mixed with fine curly hair) and it weighed her hair down and made it very oily.
I think this is better suited for people with dryer hair.
i feel like i have to write a review for this product. after buying this on a whim at target, i was disappointed that so many reviews from here, amazon, ulta and drugstore.com were really negative...i thought i spent 5 bucks on a total dud.
i used it this morning after washing and blow drying my hair. i heeded the reviews that said to spray in your hands and then wipe down your hair. i did this in 3 sections as i straightened and after i finished on the top and ends to smooth. i didn't go overboard with it, and made sure to concentrate on my ends and just the top of my head - not near my roots at all. my hair was shiny and silky (my hair is very dull, so i was really happy with the shine.)
overall, i'm really happy with this product. i think you have to be careful to use a small amount. the smell is fruity, typical garnier scent. would repurchase.

Stay away!!! I sprayed a tiny bit into my hand and applied to my dry hair after just washing it. It made my hair so greasy I had to wash it again immediately. My full bottle went right into the garbage.

Oh god, this spray was absolutely horrible. I had been using a pure argan oil and bought this on a whim because it claimed to have moroccan oil in it. I have tried it so many times but every time it ends horribly, this stuff will make your hair greasy no matter what. I tried spraying a little bit of it on damp hair, greasy. I tried to spray a little bit on my hands and then carefully rub a little bit into my hair, greasy. I tried to put just a little bit on my ends which are pretty dry, greasy. Not to mention it smells horrid. I normally don't complain about smell, but it smells exactly like Pledge. I couldn't stand having it in my hair and wanted to wash it out the second I put it in.
I finally gave up and tossed it. I don't know how Garnier can compare this to moroccan oil, I'll stick to my pure argan oil from now on.

I liked the Argan serum from this line so I wanted to try this spray. I usually use oils and creams for finishing my hair and giving it shine. For the record, my hair is thick, coarse and naturally curly. I normally blow it out so it is smooth. It's too difficult to get the amount right with this product. I either spray too little and there is no difference or I spray way too much and my hair is incredibly greasy all day. Some of the other reviews mentioned spraying your hands then smoothing it on. I will try that, but I won't be repurchasing this stuff. Regular Argan Oil works better. I often use just a dab of coconut oil to add shine. I'll stick to that instead.

Don't buy this if you think you're going to be getting a good oil or serum to smooth, only in a less messy spray form because this is not it. It doesn't really do either of those things well because it's just not effective enough as a spray. One perk I have noticed, however, it this works better than any shine spray I've tried. Careful with it, though, cuz it gets greasy fast.

Use this with care - you just want a touch to tame flyaways or treat frizzies - otherwise you can get that greasy look. Not good. Best bet: LIGHTLY spray on your hands or brush and work through your hair. It certainly has helped my coarse, curly, frizz-prone hair but just a touch is all I need.
Ugh! I was expecting this stuff to work as well as my Garnier Fructis Color Shield Shine Spray, but it's not even close. It doesn't penetrate my hair, just leaves it so oily and greasy-looking. I wanted to try the Moroccan Oil but they were out so I picked this instead. Wrong choice. I'm returning this today. Coconut oil works so much better.
