I guess I'm the only person who didn't like these wipes.

Pros: Removes makeup well, gentle, doesn't sting eyes

Cons: The SMELL is overwhelming, the packaging is kind of leaky, the wipes look soapy, which I personally find really disconcerting

I don't have too many holy grail beauty products, but these little wipes are absolutely a HG. I've tried different varieties of both the Neutrogena and Simple wipes and thought they were all okay, but they burned my lips. Weird. Usually people have problems with makeup wipes burning their eyes, but my issue has always been finding wipes that don't irritate my always chapped lips. These Ponds ones don't and so far, I haven't had problems with them in my eye area either! They don't leave any residue or my face feeling sticky afterwards.

Other reasons why I love these wipes:
(1) They're VERY moist. One thing I disliked about the Simple wipes, even though they wiped off my makeup just as well as these wipes, was that they felt dry straight out of the package - leaving me to wonder if I got a bad package and forcing me to scrub and tug my skin harder to get all of my makeup off.
(2) The texture of these wipes. There's little ridges that make it really easy for me to get even my most long-wearing makeup off.
(3) You get 30 wipes. Most other wipes only come with 25.
(4) THE PRICE. Where I live, they're under $5. To compare, the Neutrogena wipes at my local drugstore are $6-9. The Simple ones are priced almost the same as these Ponds wipes, but refer back to reason number (3) of why I love these wipes. Better value ;)

I have tried multiple different brands of facial towelettes (generic, popular brands and even baby wipes) and these are the best ones so far.

I wear makeup everyday (due to old acne scars) and majority of the time, I am running around all day. By the time I am ready to climb in to bed, I'm usually exhausted and have no interested in standing over the sink for 5 minutes washing my face and creating a water mess. This is wear this towelettes come in handy.

Not only can I wipe my face clean with 1 towelette, they do not leave my face feeling harshly rubbed and over dried! The scent is pleasant also. I believe they are perfect!

I wish it did not take me so many years for me to try them out...heading to Amazon so I can buy them in bulk.

These are gentle, smell great and remove all my make up. Other towelettes are rough on my eyes, but not these. I can see all my make up on the wipe so I know it's being removed- and I'm not scrubbing hard at all. These do not dry my skin. Nothing bad to say :-)

I really love this makeup towelettes. It wipes off all traces of makeup off effectively. My skin feels really clean after and doesn't leave a greasy feeling. The cloth itself gently exfoliate and was not harsh on my skin unlike other one I've tried. By far the best makeup wipes I used so far (better than neutrogena, olay, clean, burt's bee - although this is my second favorite)

These wipes are wonderful. They absolutely remove every last trace of makeup (including difficult to remove eyeliner and mascara) while leaving skin feeling soft and moisturized. Definitely the best makeup wipes I have used.

The best make-up wipes I've ever used. There is a lot of liquid, so it doesn't irritate my skin as much as other wipes do. The wipes are soft, but have a quilt. Nice for gentle exfoliation. My skin has gotten a lot softer and brighter. Helps a lot with my dry skin. My skin feels very tingly after using, as well. The scent is nice and refreshing. I also love how it removes all of my make-up. There's usually mascara residue left when I use other wipes, but these get it all off, and don't leave my vision blurry. I seriously love these wipes.

I'm surprised at how much I love these! These wipes remove all makeup really well and leave my skin moist. They are capable of mild exfoliation due to the diamond weave texture. My skin is pretty sensitive, and these do not sting my face, even in the eye area.

I wasn't expecting much in the way of luminizing, but I actually feel like these are making my skin look much better. My pores, which I struggle with, look smaller. (Maybe this is from the kaolin?) My skin looks smoother and slightly shiny without being oily... almost pearlescent.

Overall, I would highly recommend buying these!

I'm a long-time user of the Pond's Original Fresh Wet Cleansing Towelettes w/Vitamin E (blue/white packaging), so when I spotted these on the shelf I was intrigued. The pretty pink packaging lured me in a bit too, haha, not gonna lie! With my dollar-off coupon in hand, plus the store's sale price of $2.67, they came to around $2 and I couldn't pass them up! Been using them for the past 2 wks and I love them! These have Kaolin Clay added, which is supposed to help draw out impurities. To be perfectly honest, I don't notice any difference whatsoever in my skin between using these vs. the Originals. A side-by-side comparison of the ingredients list reveals basically the same contents, except they've replaced the chamomile and honeybush extracts, along w/ the white and green tea, w/the Kaolin (so the ingredients list for the Luminous Clean is actually simpler/shorter). The Luminous Clean towelettes perform beautifully, just like my tried-and-true Original ones; no complaints. Soft diamond-weave texture gently exfoliates w/out having to rub too hard. Fragrance is pleasant and mild. I normally hate using anything fragranced on my facial skin, and I'd prefer it if both varieties left it out, but that being sad, the scent has never bothered me or caused any irritation issues (I'm a contact lens wearer by the way). Size is perfect, about 6 x 7 inches. I use these to remove my makeup, which includes waterproof mascara and hardcore stubborn sunscreen, before cleansing my face w/Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser. This combo has helped keep my complexion clear and glowing for many years now. Well, besides the inevitable monthly hormonal zit or two. (or four.)

This line of Ponds is brand new! I got these towelettes through the mail as a free sample. When I used them that night to take off some heavy makeup, I was surprised how good they smelled (I usually use my Simple non-fragrant wipes). The texture of the wipe is also very unique, not like your ordinary wipey. It's very soft and when I looked closely, it had tiny bubbles, like a cleanser.

Long story short, it wiped my face clean of all makeup. Even waterproof mascara! Hardly any stinging in my eyes, and wow did it leave my skin feeling smooth! Overall, I really liked these towelettes. Not sure if it indeed left my skin looking brighter or "luminous" but hey, that's what highlighters are for :D
