I LOVE this concealer! I have light medium skin with yellow tones and I use Buttermilk color. I love how it isn't overly pink-toned. Yes this concealer is thick but if you apply it right it works wonders. Dab it on your skin, don't rub or smear it! It isn't like a soft cream concealer you can just brush on. I love the full coverage and it matches my skin so well. I love it! The packaging is really nice too and the tiny jar lasts forever because you only need a tiny tiny bit each time.

I really enjoy this concealer. It gives me full coverage and it blends extremely well with clinique foundation. Its not the lightest but it isn't really heavy or thick either. It does not give me any oily skin effects.

When I have acrylic nails on this concealer is a nightmare to use. Tiny jar plus witch claws......no.

Lovely for dark spots, can't imagine using this for undereye circles since its a little heavy. Lasts for a long time and good color selection overall.

It lightened my spots, which is amazing! I'm debating on whether to get this in a summer shade, but my lorac concealer is holding out well and doing the same great job, so I will have to wait.

I use buttermilk for my nc25 skin. Spot on! However, it looks very obvious under my eyes. I just did it to test it out, but I have no dark circles so I couldn't tell you if it works for that. I have a feeling it would crease though.

+
It doesn't irritate my eyes.

-
It creases under the eyes.
Makes my eye wrinkles more visible.
It doesn't cover dark undereye circles well.
It's quite drying.
Doesn't conceal blemishes very well.
It didn't even work with a primer in my case.
It seems so run off during the day, leaving my complexion looking dull.
Feels heavy on the eyes.
Small jar.

I won't repurchase.

* Just ordered the "Magic Concealer" by Helena Rubenstein. I've got a sample at home and it's definitely more moisturizing than the previous one. Also the coverage is better and it gives a longlasting glow to the eyes/face.

I absolutely love this product! It covers any blemishes really well and lasts most of the day (depending on whether or not I exercise). The colour I purchased is also a great match for my skin tone.

I hadn't attempted to apply this concealer underneath my eyes to cover dark circles until reading all the negative reviews but upon trying it for myself I find that it works great under the eyes! I would just say that you need a brush to apply it as this will work best to work the product into your skin.

Many people complain that you only get a tiny pot for the money which this concealer costs but I have been using it everyday for 4 months now to cover any blemishes and there is still plenty of product left.

All in all I am very pleased with this product and will definitely be repurchasing it.

I really hate this concealer which is too bad because the Even Better foundation is incredible. This concealer feels a lot like solidified glue. It has good coverage but it is sticky, thick, not at all creamy and settles into any lines on the face. I do not like this at all and I wouldn't advise anyone to buy it.

I find the shades offered not to be true-to-skintone. I was actually matched with a shade by one of Clinique's sales associates that was not a perfect match for my skintone. After getting it home and trying out, it actually made my face appear chalky in the areas that I actually took the time to apply it to. Also, after a while, this stuff did crease under my eyes as well as around my mouth. And, when it comes to concealer that it is a big NO-NO for me!

The consistency of this product is thick and not easy to blend out. It also has a waxiness to it that I didn't like. It is easy to rub off. Also, it did crease underneath my eyes as well around my mouth. And, I don't even have any visible lining on my face. Which is why, I can't understand how it could crease up in such areas after only a short while.

Overall, this is probably one of the worst products I've ever purchased from Clinique!

I purchased a few things from the 'Even better" range. I'm so disappointed with all of them, not one of them delivering on their promise.
This product is $40 in Australia. I bought it to help give me better coverage under my eyes as the lady at the Clinque counter said this is the heavy duty stuff. Well, your wrong lady! I found it had barely any coverage once blended and very 'see through'. It might be good to cover an invisible pimple but nothing else. I have reverted back to my old $6 Covergirl concealer as it does a way better job of under eye circles, pimples, freckles and dark spots!!!

Update: The look of this as it wears throughout the day started to make me self-conscious. It gets very crepey as the day goes on so I keep adding highlighter which adds more layers and adds more and more--well you get the picture--and pretty quickly I'm a nervous wreck over my stupid circles. I don't need that aggravation. I'd rather just go back to something that doesn't cover as well but isn't a crepey mess. Phew.

I certainly have a different opinion than some on here but it could be due to my skin type. I have normal dry skin right now and I was really impressed by the opacity of this concealer.

Clinique color matched me to hazelnut for my NC 25-30 skintone(prob more NC 25 right now) which was good for covering spots but too dark for under the eyes, which they were out of, of course. But they sent me home with a sample to use. Clinique online suggested Chamois for under the eyes.

To cover undereye circles, SA suggested taking a dab of the concealer on a q-tip and then mixing it with their new eye cream with the metal tip which I did buy. This does do a nice job of sheering the formula. Then tapping it on or layering it with a concealer brush.

I have very bad allergic shiners and this concealer covers fairly well for me. (I have lost hope of finding anything that will completely cover.) I have also used it straight on spots and it covers very well for that use too so multi-functional-yay!

This comes in a jar and considering how pigmented and thick it is, I don't consider this such a bad value. It's 20 dollars which I've spent on lots of other concealers with half the coverage-you only need a smidge-plus there's lots in the jar. I would have preferred a compact for travel but a screw closed jar lid must preserve the creamy nature of this. Clinique also offers lots of colors compared to the usual 5 colors in other lines.

So if you don't have oily skin--look at the reviews, most of the bad reviews are from oily skinned folks--then give this a try. I think it is a solid option from Clinique.

I initially began using this product in the hopes of achieving a fuller coverage under my eyes; unfortunately, that wasn't the case. First and foremost, this product is ridiculously priced, $20 for such a small amount of concealer is silly, even with the added "benefits." Second, the packaging is awkward as it is unsanitary to use your fingers continuously and even more difficult to fit a brush into the small container, and lastly, the coverage! Alright, because this is a cream based product, I believed the coverage would easily build to a full coverage whilst maintaining a natural appearance, wrong. Not only did this crease ridiculously, it got oily and left a nasty residue! I'm a Clinique fanboy, and will never change brands, but this did not live up to the hype.
