Love this BB cream. I've tried so many BB creams, and they never seem to go on right or blend well. The cream absorbed in a matter of minutes and blended perfectly. New favourite right here.

I've never been one to wear foundation, for several reasons: It increases the time it takes me to "do my makeup", I don't like that cakey, layered, greasy feeling, and pretty well every foundation I've ever tried has had adverse affects on my skin.

But like most people who wear any kind of makeup and are a sucker for beauty products that promise great results, I just had to jump into this new BB cream fad. I have EXTREMELY sensitive skin (my T-zone tends to get oily throughout the day and my cheeks get very dry and splotchy) so I figured "hypoallergenic" was the way to go. The cosmetician who I spoke with at my local drug store ranted and raved about how Marcelle was one of the best.

I eventually decided to go with the anti-aging formula, mainly for the higher SPF.

I drove to four different stores in one day just to find this one! Figured it must be good if it was selling that well.

So I finally found it (I paid $28.99). I took it home, very excited to finally be trying it. Within seconds of applying it to my face, it burned... LITERALLY. A thin layer of my skin had been burned off as I applied the cream to my face. I figured give it a few minutes and see if the burning stops. Which it didn't. I looked in the mirror to find that my cheeks had turned BEAT red. It was absolutely horrible. So I washed it off immediately. For the next few days I had to be EXTRA kind to my damaged skin. It was a really bad experience.

I'm thinking maybe I had a bad allergic reaction to one of the ingredients. However, I think the reaction I had was a bit odd because I've used Marcelle's BB cream to powder and haven't had any problems with it.

Sadly I will not be using Marcelle's Anti-Aging BB cream formula again. :(

Great BB cream! In the hunt for the perfect BB, this one was not at all a pain to use up. I have it also in the Golden Glow formula, although I do not find much difference between them finish-wise. This BB is a slightly heavy medium coverage and very buildable although not when applying with your hands. Very similar to the Annabelle BB in consistency and coverage; they are both great BBs. The Marcelle BB cream is the most hydrating and true BB I have tried. (the Maybelline Dream Fresh is also quite moisturizing but the hydration does not last all day like this one) With this one there is no need to apply moisturizer , although I do anyway, and I saw real results in my skin after a week or so of use; mostly changes in firmness and suppleness (alike other western BBs this is no miracle product). The SPF and lightdiffusing properties are nice too. My only complaints are the packaging- yes pumps are great but this one is dinky. It is inconsistent with how much product it dispenses and once you have used a fair amount up the tube traps air bubbles and you get a squirt AFTER you press. Second complaint only a personal one; this product was a little too pink for my skin so the match is not perfect.

Hated this. Although I loved the colour and consistency, it broke me out. Yellow undertones but just not for me!

Have tried several BB creams and tinted moisturizers since I do not like the look of too much foundation. For the money this is one of the best I have tried, goes on nicely, the light-medium shade is a good match. Does not look as matte as Smashbox Photo Ready. I usually find most products to yellow based for me and was skeptical about only two shades but this works for me. Like the packaging with the pump dispenser.

I've been searching for bb creams that were available in Canada for a long time, and it seem that all bb creams were only available in Asian until I found this at shoppers. I love that the colour matched perfectly ( I'm usually a nc 25). It blends well and covers well, if I want a bit more coverage I just dab a little bit of foundation and dust my face sub loose power Nd it stays put all day ( at least 10 hrs). So far so good but I still want to try some of those Korean and Japanese bb creams if I could find them :)

Yay! FINALLY! I very much liked Marcelle's original BB cream but had serious concerns about it having no sunscreen/sun protection in it. I don't understand how a product can claim it's anti-aging, all-in-one or protects from environmental stresses when it has nothing to protect from the biggest aging/environmental stress we encounter. I contacted Marcelle about this and was told that they did have a BB cream with SPF "in the works". Well, it finally hit the shelves a few weeks ago and all I can say is I am very happy with this "improved" version. This is more like it!!!

This BB cream comes in 2 shades and I purchased Light/Medium. Like the original, it has good coverage and a nice, matte finish that looks good all over my face - the drier areas and those that are oilier and have larger pores (my nose!). While this covers my redness and broken capillaries, I find a touch of concealer under my eyes is necessary but then I'm good to go. After I apply this (usually with my fingers), I find that sort of pressing all over my face with my flattened palms helps the product really "bind" with my skin and look like skin rather than a layer of tinted stuff on my face. I might use a bit of mattifying powder (Rimmel or MAC Prep&Prime setting powder) on my T-zone if it's very hot or humid but usually that's not even necessary. The packaging is also excellent but I learned with the original product that you need to stand it on its end, as it's designed to be. If you lay it down in a drawer or on your counter, it will splatter and make a mess when you go to pump out the product after a use or 2.

This is a great product to simplify your life. A quick application, a bit of concealer and blush and my face is DONE. "Natural but better" results with the added protection of SPF20 and not a lot of fuss for a great finished look. If you liked the original but lament the lack of sun protection, by all means check this out. It retails for about 5 dollars more than the original version but that's a small price to pay for the protection it offers. continued >>
