This is the first primer I have ever used, and it does everything I wished it to do. The biggest reason I wanted a primer is to help my foundation stay on longer, and I can tell a huge difference. Without the primer, the foundation would become oily after several hours and form visible clumps on my skin. With the primer, my skin stays smooth, retains even color, and no runny foundation. Very impressed!

The primer itself has a very fair tint, but it goes on clear. It doesn't smooth out my skin as much as I thought it would. My ordinary pores look the same, but the difference with the foundation on is astonishing. Also, the product is very light and, apart from a mild, short-lived rosy skin upon application (must be the sunscreen), does not elicit any adverse reaction. I would think this product would work for sensitive skin, because it's light in texture, has pretty much no smell, and the shimmer is very fine.

Like others have mentioned, this primer does have shimmer/glitter in it. It is not advertised on the package, which encloses the product, so you can't see what it is like. Frankly, after getting home from shopping and looking up the reviews, I imagined the product would be loaded with chunks of glitter, and got scared. However, so far it's been barely noticeable. It's extremely fine shimmer particles, and when I put it on my face (fair skin), it doesn't even give me a glow. In other words, FAR from Edward Cullen's sparkle. Perhaps the bigger glitter is mixed in there and will come out later...So far I have only used the product three times. I will update when I use it for a month.

I think it is a quality product and it does what it's designed for. I would buy it again.

This is a great product, but I don't use it to increase makeup staying power, since I don't wear foundation. I use it alone as a moisturizer and to add just a bit of a finished look to skin. Since I have combo-oily skin, I don't need to wear moisturizer with this. It hydrates enough for the day. The chemical SPF isn't high, but I loathe to wear too much chemical sunscreen, and an SPF of 15 did not irritate my skin. (Mineral-based sunscreens clog my pores badly, no matter how cosmetically elegant, so i'm glad there's no zinc and little titanium dioxide in the formula.)

This makes my skin REALLY SOFT! It stings when I put it on but it goes away quickly. I like that it has broad spectrum spf. It does have glitter on it but I usually put on makeup anyway so it covers most of the glitter. I will write again if anything drastic happens to my skin.

[UPDATE}
Last night when I washed my face, it stung. I think it's because of this primer because it's the only thing I added to my skin routine. I will see if it happens again.

[UPDATE]
I have been using this primer for 13 days now and my skin feels great. It doesn't sting like the first day. It must have been something else. Well anyway, it makes my skin look better before my makeup and I love that it has alittle skin color in it.

If I could give this product a negative rating I would, the price does not do it any justice, the packaging is sanitary but way too little. Would I buy this again? Hell no!

This product is just pure GLITTER!! Im sorry I thought the product say "Healthy Skin" not "DISCO SKIN"!!!, I would not recommend this for anyone unless youre the type of person who likes to have chunks of glitter for your face then go for it, I put it on my face inside the house I thought it look nice initially, but oh my goodness once you hit natural daylight you'll sparkle like nobody's business even edward cullen himself would be jealous of this sparkle!, Hope you guys read this before wasting around more then 10$ for this product that doesn't do it any justice for a primer I expect it to make my skin smooth not gritty with the glitters in it, didnt make my skin look better just a pure hot mess.

***EDIT***
I decided I do not like this. The shimmery bits turned out to be more like glittery bits and its just a bit obvious and they dont come off very well even after washing my face and using makeup remover! I wish companies would STOP putting glitter in makeup that goes all over the face. Otherwise I totally would keep this and use it..I just cant get passed the glitter.

Try it out and maybe itll work for you but just wasnt right for my skin!

This primer comes in a gray colored squeeze tube (1oz) and once you dispense the primer it has a light ivory tint in it but goes on clear once you rub it into your skin. There are however very light shimmery bits in this primer but they may not be noticeable once you apply your foundation. This primer is smooth and seeps into the skin well, not feeling greasy or oily.

The sunscreen level is SPF 15

I will update if anything changes for now its an ok primer for the low price!
