This product is great at detangling hair and adding some moisture. It smells great and leaves your hair feeling silky soft. Only downside is that I went through a whole bottle in two weeks. For reference, I have waist length hair. Luckily, this product is inexpensive at about $3.50 a bottle.

This stuff is wonderful in every way! It is affordable, smells yummy, and makes my hair soft and smooth without weighing it down at all. I've been buying detanglers for the last two years, as I'm growing my hair long and its become a necessity. I have fine hair, but lots of it, and it does tend to frizz slightly with humidity and definitely tangles. The packaging is simple - I'm glad this is in a clear bottle so you can see how much you have, and since you need to shake it to mix the product together, it's especially helpful. The spray nozzle sprays a fine, medium-range mist. I usually use this on dried hair kind of to finish it and keep it from tangling -- haven't used more than 4 spritzes at any given time. I should try it on wet hair though, to see how it works that way.

Love this stuff!! Doesn't weigh hair down, makes my hair soft and shiny and most of all controls my frizzies!! I don't have a problem with tangling so I don't know how well it works for that. I use on dry hair when I start to notice frizz and it works wonders for me. It's also relatively cheap. I got mine at Wal-Mart for about $4.00. For me, an added bonus is it contains argan oil which I love.

I love this product it does so many good things for me. I use it both on wet and dry hair and it detangles it wonderfully and adds a beautifully glistening shine to my light blonde hair and makes my hair smell AMAZING. My favorite way to use this is for "the day after" when I stay over somewhere and can't shower I spray this in my hair and it brushes right through and makes it smell soft and clean and look shiny and healthy and ready to style! I have to add my hair is generally dry-normal and I have never had an oily problem--at all. One of my best friends has oily hair and I definitely know this would not work all that well for her to use on her entire head and especially not the day after like I use it. For oilier hair I'd recommend only spraying your ends or using it very lightly.

I use this as a heat protectant spray with my flat iron, and it works miracles for that. Makes my coarse, thick, dry hair super shiny and sleek, with no weird heavy coated "hairspray" feeling, like many heat protectants. I don't have any issues with tangling, so I am not sure how it works for that, but as a heat styling spray it is amazing.

I am a sucker for anything with some sparkle in it. This detangler has some sparkle in it when you look at in the bottle, so that was a selling point for me...(silly, I know). I was pleasantly surprised to find that it does exactly what it say it does - it detangles and nourishes. My hair looks the best that it has ever been! I have highlighted and colored hair that is dry and limp. This product makes it very shiny. Better than all of the expensive "nourishing" products I have tried! Go DOVE!

I have fine, long wavy/curly hair that tangles really easily. I was looking for a detangler at Walmart when I found this, and it was pretty cheap--no more than $4.

I spray it on somewhat generously, and run a wide tooth comb through my hair right after. It doesn't take long to shake either, but sometimes I forget and just spray it on and it does not work as well.

Also, I believe that my hair has started to feel MUCH softer after using this product. In winter my hair usually starts to straighten and feel really dry, but my hair looks full and great without using any additional hair care products!

One of the worst experiences I ever had with a hair product. Sucked all the moisture right out of my hair. I guess I got taken in by the word "nourishing". Anyway, this didn't just make my hair dry and straw-like (which is bad enough) but downright RAGGEDY. It was the strangest thing- I looked like I was in desperate need of a haircut when I had literally just had one. How can a hair product make you look like you have split ends when you don't? Well this one did. I couldn't wait to wash this shizz out of my hair! And when I did, everything went back to normal. I was honestly afraid it wouldn't because my hair felt FRIED with this in. Will never use again. Thumbs Down!

I have very thick, long hair and live in the dessert. dove nourishing products have treated my hair amazingly, I have issues with knoots and even matting until indiscovered this product. It was nice to be able to brush my hair without pain, worked perfectly and it leaves hair smooth. I love it, saved me from a lot of pain.

My hair is so long and thick, and damaged from dying it still (even though I haven't touched a dye in 4 months) I always have to use a detangler when I comb my hair after a shower. I have tried etverything to find in the drugstores and I found this, and I LOVE! Its lightweight so my hair does not get oily. My comb glides through my hair so effortlessly. Price is so-so, It was around 6 bucks but the bottle is a good size and lasts awhile. Also since using this my hair looks so much healthier. YAY for dove detangler :D
