I've been using this for several months. I hate that Shiseido discontinued the white lucent brightening treatment, since it worked better and was packaged in a more sanitary fashion, but this is an above average cream that works pretty well. It does nothing really for lines, but the whole Shiseido brightening line delivers in lightening skin and imparting a luminous glow. It comes with a spatula, but I doubt most people actually use this feature. I wish there was a pump. I've had mine since end of April and still have a week or two worth of product left. So, even using as main eye cream twice daily, I've gotten 5 months out of it. Not bad for price. This cream goes on smoothly and absorbs quickly. No issue applying concealer 5 minutes later. Wish it reduced eye puffiness! I'm going to try the Shiseido Nutriperfect eye serum next based on reviews here, so we'll see if that is better. This cream is not the best in the Shiseido line, but certainly not the worst. I would buy again in a pinch. Maybe in conjunction with a puffiness reducer things would be even better.
Currently loving this eye cream! I mainly use it because it's very hydrating and it absorbs well. It doesn't irritate my eyes. I don't know how well it performs for reducing dark circles considering mine isn't that bad. It has made a dramatic difference for my boyfriend who is also using this. I will need to use it longer to give it a proper review in terms of dark circles.
This product does work! I have about 3 samples of these and have been using them each night before i sleep for about 2-3 months straight. I do notice results of my under eye circles lightening and gradually becoming better, i must say you do not get an instant noticeable result right away. You must be patient with this product but it does work and i would definitely repurchase this product. It doesn't irritate my eye skin either and feels just like a thin light weight moisturiser
I got this after trying few other Shiseido products. Other than a good moisturizer this is an over-priced eye cream. Despite Shiseido's claims that you will see results within 2, 4 and 8 weeks. I saw nothing done to my dark circles, which was a pain considering the price of this eye cream in Canada $70.
Indian, NC40-42, dark brown eyes and black hair for reference. I have the typical hereditary under eye circles, which this cream doesn't really do anything about. In fact, I am resigned to the reality that nothing short of what I consider extreme measures would completely get rid of them (i.e., using products with bleaching agents). That being said, I feel like this cream might add some luminosity to the areas which I apply it, like a highliting cream does. Mostly, I love the way that it sinks right into my skin and moisturizes so well! I would buy this again to feel that luxurious feeling...
Bought this because my friend hyped about it so much and after reading so many fab reviews, I gave in and bought it. Unfortunately, my dark eye circles remain or less the same. There's no "wow your panda eyes are gone" and I still use the same amount of concealer every morning. Plus the smell, it's something I can't stand. On the plus side, it is easily absorbed and good for moisturising but other than that... People who break out milia seeds easily around the eye area might wanna give this a try.
Btw shoutout to astalift concealer: they r really good!!! Better than my cle de peau (which was my HG before this) and at half the price :)
So far I really like this. I used to use the brands under eye treatment, but I needed something more moisturizing. My only gripe is that I wish it was a pump for hygiene, but you can select the right amount with a jar so... :/
I love this. I got a sample from Shiseido and noticed lightened dark circles pretty quickly after using it! A little goes a long way, so the cost sort of makes sense (still very pricey though). However, I feel like it worked very well up to a point and then just plateaued. I'd like to try it coupled with the eye serum and see if that makes more of a difference.
I really like this cream! I do not want to say that this is my HD cream as I haven't tried enough to tell, but I definitely think this is up there!
I have really bad dark circles as well as some eye-bags. I've used Clinique's all about eye cream before and it seemed to help with both dark circles and eye-bags, but I wanted a cream that would target just dark circles.
I picked this one up when I was in Hong Kong at a Shiseido store as the SA said that this targets the dark pigments under the eyes. I use this 2 a day, once in the morning and once at night.
The consistency is very nice, not too thick but enough to provide moisture/concealer doesn't smudge/crease.
No significant scent..
After using this for 2 months consistently, I gotta say..there has been an improvement in my dark circles, especially when I drink enough water and get enough sleep in addition to this eye cream. I am still hesitant to go out sans-concealer, but my circles have definitely lightened up thanks to this.
The only complaint is that this is pretty $$. Which, considering is Shiseido..I'm not surprised. But seeing how much product there is and how little I have to use each time, I'm sure this will pay off in the longterm.
If I had to compare this to Clinique's All About Eyes cream..I would stick with Shiseido as I definitely see a difference in discolouration underneath my eyes. With Clinique's ..I only see an improvement in less fine lines (moisture) and I feel that I can get the same result of Clinique's with just a drugstore brand if it's only effects is moisturizing.
I will re-purchase this again. The only complaint is that I wish it came in a squeeze-tube, but honestly, the packaging itself is not going to deter me from buying another one.
I have really bad dark circles, I have tried everything on the market from hylexin to Peter Thomas Roth. I decided to splurge and try this and I have noticed amazing results. I have only been using for 1 week so fingers crossed it keeps working.
