On me, its the most natural matte berry/rose shade. Its the one I keep going back to when I need a flush of colour and life to my face. Highly pigmented , I add a gloss and find when it wears down, there is still a stain left, so works for me. This color would be universally flattering for any age. I agree, the name doesn't represent the colour well- there is no wine tone to this at all.
I just bought it .. the name dont fit the color but its very matte and i like it.. i have blonde hair and its nice tone not to harsh could be a everyday color wearer if need be!
so yes its a good color and nice buy..
wet n wild need more nice caps and style..
On my NC44 lips, this isn't a wine color at all, but a neutral to slightly cool pink. It's fairly bright too, so I generally blot it down a bit and top it with a gloss.
Took away some points for packaging because it doesn't swivel all the way down and gets nicked by the cap.
Overall, this is a perfect cheap thrill--lasts a long time, a nice and wearable color, and dirt cheap.
Let me make this short for you ladies gorgeous color, very long lasting,no smudging and affordable definitely buying this lipstick again and try different shades because I know these wet n wild lipsticks are amazing!
I love this lipstick so much, I have a few of them floating around. It's a gorgeous deep and bright rosy pink, matte lipstick. Lights up your whole face. WnW Megalasts are a staple in my lipstick arsenal. The reason is obvious: High-end quality and a super LE price. I do wish the packaging was a little nicer, as the caps always crack on me.
Kinda dry...definitely need lip balm before applying this. No lip liner necessary IMHO. Such a pretty color! It's more plummy on me. Matte and simple.
Update 5/15 - this is becoming one of my go-to daily use colors. I love it!
If you're looking for a lovely lipstick shade that has incredible pigmentation and will suit just about anyone, you should check this lippie out! The shade is a bit hard to describe; I'd call it a bright rose, if that makes sense. It's certainly not so vibrant that it's neon pink--the color is bright without being garish or eye-popping. It'd probably look gorgeous against a deeper skintone, and it looks fresh and sweet and beautiful against my fair complexion. Quite lovely, like I said!
Now the formula might take a little TLC, especially if you're lax with taking care of your lips. You'll want to make sure there aren't any flaky bits on your lips before you wear this--I recommend wetting a cotton ball and rubbing that on your lips to exfoliate gently. And if you buy this lipstick, you'll definitely want to slick on a nice thick layer of lip balm before applying it, otherwise it WILL tug and pull on your lips when you try to put it on, because that's how opaque and packed with pigment it is. This isn't at all a problem for me--I try hard to take good care of my lips so they aren't often flaky in the first place, and I ALWAYS have some kind of lip care on--but if you struggle with dry and flaky lips, and you don't always have lip balm on, then you may want to skip this one.
I do want to mention that the packaging is a bit unfriendly: the lipstick sticks up out of its case a little bit, so you are going to nick it with the cap when you put it back on. If you're a clean freak about your makeup and hate smears on your packaging, then this'll probably irritate the hell out of you. I personally don't mind it too much, but I do acknowledge that it looks a bit messy.
Overall, whether you like this lipstick or not will depend a lot on what you look for in a lipstick: moisture vs. pigmentation, ease of application vs. long wear, glossiness vs. creaminess. But if you're looking for opaque pigmentation and incredible wear time in a super affordable lipstick, I certainly recommend picking this up or others from the MegaLast line!
Not the best lipstick out there. But good for a lipstick at this price. It drags. And its kind of drying. If you do choose to purchase this product I recommend applying a lip balm or chapstick before applying it. And also it doesn't last very long so make sure you keep it on hand when wearing it to touch it up. Other than that great color!
Hope that helped
This color is a burgundy red. It is very wearable especially if you're not confident enough for the bold red lip yet . It's very classy and can go well with a nice simple eye look. The formula is long lasting and not too drying
I'm generally not a lipstick-wearer, but I've been wanting to try to amp up my collection. I picked up this shade at a CVS during a BOGO sale, so it was a good deal. I love this shade, very nice berry color, but not overpowering. I'm also very impressed with the staying power. It lasts about four or five hours on me, depending on how much I drink (which is a lot, so others who don't hydrate as much, it may last longer.) The only complaint I have is that the lipstick sticks out a bit, so if I'm not careful, I'll end up scraping it with the cap when I'm replacing it. Not a huge gripe, considering these babies are only 1.50. I look forward to trying other colors from this particular line of lipsticks.
