I was excited to see waterproof mascara formulas for WnW as I have never seen waterproof versions before. This formula claims to lengthen my lashes up to 80%....NOT. What a claim! It lengthened them by just a little but The Falsies & even Lash Stilleto lengthen my lashes by much much more than this does. Because my lashes are stick straight and sparse I have to use an eyelash curler and I MUST use waterproof mascaras which usually will hold the curl. This is the 2nd waterproof mascara I have ever come across that instantly uncurls my lashes while applying. I can't say that this is garbage though because I am intrigued by the mascara wand. I am a mascara hoarder and I have yet to come across another wand like it. It is PERFECT for my bottom lashes because the bristles are very short and evenly spaced apart. Although I think the formula is not for me I will buy this again just for the brush. I will clean off the one I have now & dip it into my HG waterproof formulas. continued >>

This is my favorite mascara. Since the bristles are short it is easy to get close to the lash line, it applies evenly without clumping together, throughout the day my top and bottom lashes don't stick together like they do with other brands, and it is pretty water resistant - no streaking through getting rained on and even extensive crying! best part is that it comes off with regular makeup remover wipes pretty easily. it is pretty cheap (I think less then $5), is easily available at Walgreen's and CVS. I have yet to find a better mascera, and I have tried department store brands as well.

My primary mascara concern is finding one that will hold a curl in my stubbornly straight lashes. I don't know that I've ever used a waterproof mascara that didn't hold a curl (Water resistant? Yes. But not waterproof). This to my amazement did not hold a curl at all. My lashes would begin drooping even while I was still applying the mascara. It also would sometimes smudge under my eyes if I applied it to my lower lashes & was not very waterproof/resistant either. For what it's worth it did add good length and average volume, but for my purposes (holding a curl) it was useless. Wet n Wild does offer some great products but this isn't one of them. continued >>
