I'd been kind of "off" pigments for a while, just because pressed powder is so much easier, quicker, and neater to apply.
But, for my recent birthday, I treated myself to an Inglot pigment.
I chose #80, and what an absolute beauty it is!
# 80 is a gorgeously complex plum/brown/taupe, with a generous amount of silver shimmer. Think MAC Moth Brown, in pigment form. I wore #80 today on my lids, with MAC Blackberry in the crease, plum liner, and black mascara, and did my green eyes POP!
This pigment looks a bit chunky in the jar, but on the skin it morphs into rich, smooth, intensely colored goodness. I don't notice much, if any, of the "fall-out" that is often so troublesome with loose powder eyeshadows. It has a texture similar to that of the best MAC pigments, like Sunnydaze, Coco, Subtle. In fact, this pigment reminds me a lot of those old favorites.
I have *extremely* oily lids, but a light application of #80, over primer, lasted for several hours.
Inglot pigments come in a screw-top jar, priced $14 for 2 g/0.07 US oz.
I wish it were possible to buy larger sizes, but fortunately, a little bit goes a verrry long way.
I'll eagerly buy more of these wonderful pigments, which are not LE, and not tested on animals. I love Inglot! continued >>
