This is a bright almost neon blue. It is lighter than electric eel got comparison. It is a satin finish but I find that it leans more towards matte. though is does have a slight shimmer. It does come off a bit sheer and needs a good white base such as the nyx jumbo pencil in milk. This is the only reason I gave it four lippies instead of five

Pigmentation is nothing like the brightly pigmented swatches online I think those blogs fake positive results to keep getting sent free products/event tickets from the company/payment from advertising revenue when we click on their sponsor links").


Very sheer and doesn't hardly show up on my pale skin. Its Yes, I could buy some white creme shadows, paint pots ect to act as a base to improve its pigmentation as others suggest. But at NZ $48 for a MAC shadow why should I, the product should work on its own! I already have a couple of cheap $1 blue eyeshadows that look great once layered over a white base, this is no different to those. The quality of blue candy was disappointing.

This is a bright medium blue which I used for a tutorial. The texture is amazing like most mac shadows. I thought it would be like the electric eel however it is a little lighter. The pigmentation is good. I do recommend this eyeshadow.
