I read in Allure magazine that Kim Kardashian uses this product so I thought if it was good enough for her it is good enough for me. I don't buy many hair products because I get blow outs at a salon and have oily roots to begin with. I use this deep conditioner once a week and it is one of the best hair products ever! It is also the best smelling hair product I ever used I love floral scents. I have long, coarse, thick, curly, hair and get keratin treatments to calm it down. I use a ton of heat once a week & this product really helps soften it and cause less breakage. I sit under a dryer with this product in my hair & it makes a world of difference. I love that it is sulfate free. continued >>
I got a deluxe sample size of this and I am just not impressed at all. It just coated my hair and left a gunky film. It didn't soften or moisturize.
My hair used to be so dry from dyeing it so much, (I'm a natural blonde, but I used to dye my hair colors such as ginger, jett-black, and all sorts of ombré colors on the bottom.)
For my birthday, I received a $25 gift card from my aunt for Sephora, so the next weekend when my mum and I went to the mall, we dropped by the store.
I found this along with the matching shampoo and conditioner in a travel sized 3 pack, and purchased it.
I'm so happy with the results!
For one, the scent is just..... Absolutely lovely! It's smells like fresh baby powder.
I use this during every shower (I leave it in for 7 minutes.), and once a week I sneak a Vitamin D pill from the cabinet, crush it, grab a plastic container and spoon, and mix the powder of the pill and mask together. I'll then put it on and wrap my hair in a Saran Wrap, blowdry it for 7 minutes, then rinse it off in the shower. So shiny and silky!!
Definitely a must-have for all gals out there!
Wow. I bought this over a year ago, used it once and never gave much thought about it. Now lately I've bought the Rosemary mint clarifying shampoo and hair milk co-wash. Even though I am not the target group for these products, I have to say I am thoroughly impressed. Specifically what this repairing mask does! My hair has been majorly damaged due to processing my hair from back to blonde. Needless to say that was a FAIL and I just decided to dye it back to black. For months, I would wash my hair and use numerous conditioners, and I would still have knots! I decided to get a haircut and then use the rosemary mint shampoo and use this mask. Holy grail! As I washed this mask off, I feel the knots loosening up and my hair looks shiny after I blow dry! I haven't tried the hair milk co-wash yet, but let me just say that in the past I've used wen as well. Even the wen hair mask didn't help my severely damaged hair! Now I can't wait to try the co-wash and I can't stop running my fingers through my hair. LOL. My hair is fine, stick straight, somewhat thin Asian hair. I also use protein treatments since my hair is processed and I want to achieve more thickness in my hair. I will be doing a separate review for the hair milk co-wash in about two weeks. Overall, I would recommend the rosemary mint for weekly clarifying and this repairing mask.
I'm a hair mask NOOB but I am using this like a daily conditioner. I enjoy it and normally leave it on about 5 minutes. It doesn't take much to coat the hair when mixed with the water on your hair post shampoo. I like that I can use this all the way to the scalp and it doesn't leave your hair weighed down. I do think however for my type 2a/b hair it's a little too protein heavy as it's making my hair less wavy. I also like that it doesn't make your hair that soft, it still feels like hair that's healthy and soft, but not coated in silicones or anything like that.
It smells SO amazing and that scent actually lingered in my hair after I'd washed it! Well, just once, but still!
Here's why I won't be buying it again: when it says REPAIRING, it means it. As in, there must be proteins in it (awesome for repairing hair damaged by heat and/or chemicals) and when you do protein treatments on my hair that doesn't need it (I only sometimes blow dry and while it is colored, it's colored a couple shades darker, not lighter. No flat irons, no bleaching), it gets brittle.
As a Caucasian woman, it also may just not be the right thing for my hair, even if it does have quite a bit of curl.
Oh, but that scent! I really, really want my hair to smell like that ALL the time so am on the hunt for the perfect product. Mmmmmm.
Looooove. I use the Monoi Shampoo and use this as a conditioner daily. I leave it in while showering while I shave or whatever and then rinse it out. I swear my hair grows faster after using these products for a couple months now. Smells lovely and leaves my hair feeling soft and silky.
I received a deluxe sample of this mask. I used it as a "daily conditioner" after shampoo. Please with how my hair felt and did not need any detangler afterwards to comb out my damp hair. Probably would buy again in the future.
Best conditioner I have ever used, hands down. I have VERY thick, curly, frizzy, dry hair. I use this mask along with the monoi shampoo. Given how dry prone my hair is I only wash about 3x per week and this has replaced my former conditioner each time I wash my hair.
Extremely conditioning and repairing and in conjunction with the shampoo my hair is so much softer, smoother and less frizzy. LOVE
OMMMGGGGG best conditioner ever. I use the clarifying shampoo and then use this as more of a daily conditioner. Sometimes I use it as a deep conditioner but really it's not that deep. It's still a WONDERFUL conditioner. When I use this humidity does not affect my hair at all, AT ALL. And I live in Alabama! So you must buy this to at least try this! I hope it works as well with your hair as it does mine :)
