i had cystic acne and boils always have done tried everything for my skin all sorts of washes, creams everything, i bought this just cause i liked the smell i always been put off about using soap on my face as soaps not recommened but i tryed it and after a week i noticed my skin getting better this is the holy grail if you have spots i costs 88p and 1 bar will last you 2 months, normally with soaps they make you skin feel so tight not this one, i use it am pm i did some reasearch and it doesnt contain coal tar so ive no idea whats in this that makes your skin nice
i do get spots still but no way like i used to but i think its foundation changes cause i try alot.
so if you like me and always had cycts, whitehead and spots try this and dont use moisturser use serum wish id found this years ago !!!!
I love to get this soap for my teenage son's acne I can tell when he has been using it because he has a LOT less acne maybe only a couple of pimples as opposed to his whole face being covered with pimples when he didn't use it. Unfortunately I can't buy it here in Spain.
Wright's Traditional Coal Tar Soap
Or should i say Coal Tar Fragrance Soap... Wright's Traditional Soap No longer has Coal Tar in it because European Union directives on cosmetics have banned the use of coal-tar in non-prescription products, so the coal tar derivatives have been removed from the formula, replacing them with tea tree oil as main anti-bacterial ingredient.
This is unfortunet for certain people, because the original formula was used as a treatment of skin diseases.. or ease people with a condition called Psoriasis
They may have changed the main anti-bacterial ingredience but it still smells and looks like the original bar of soap.
Overall: i think it's still a great soap since it contains tea tree but i suggest only using it for your body not your face.
it can still be bought in supermarkets and chemists worldwide in the UK it's 83pence a bar.
