Curl Clarity Shampoo is specifically made to remove product build-up from the hair and scalp. While it does exactly this, my hair is left feeling *very* stripped, which I hate. It is essential that you use a good conditioner immediately following the use of this shampoo. As a matter of fact, after using this product would be the optimal time to apply intensive conditioners or treatments, as your hair will be ripe and thirsty for it. Neutrogena's Anti-Residue Shampoo serves the same purpose as this but doesn't leave the hair feeling so harshly stripped, IMO. I was actually surprised that a clarifying shampoo for natural coils and curls would feel so harsh.
