I picked this up after they DISCONTINUED my beloved L'oreal H.I.P. cream eyeliners, and while this isn't the same as the cream ones (which I loved, HG status for me) I do enjoy this eyeliner.

It's very creamy and pigmented, one dip on my brush per eye is enough. The little brush that comes with these is wonderful as well, thin and tapered enough to get a nice winged look if that's what you're going for.

As for staying power, this stays put on my eyelids, (I'd say I have average lids, they get oily occasionally but not super crazy) and if I leave it on overnight it's still there in the morning, unless I did some serious rubbing on my eyelids or something.

I do wish that Espresso wasn't such a dark brown, but it's still lovely, and definitely something to look at if black is too harsh for you. And as for the "laquered finish", it's not very shiny at all (which I was happy about.)

Not sure if I'll pick up other colors yet as I still have the cream eyeliners in Eggplant and Black, but these little liners are a wonderful drugstore product (I've heard it's even better than MAC Fluidline, I haven't tried Fluidline so I can't compare) and I definitely recommend them.

This is a great dark brown color for anyone who thinks black might be a bit harsh for everyday. It's not as creamy as I thought it would be, but I don't have any complaints about the formula in regards to consistency -- it's easy to get on your brush and apply. The issue I have with this is that it does not last on my oily lids. I have hooded monolids and this stuff always comes off my inner corner and smudges on my lower lashline.
It is, however, a lot better than Bobbi Brown's gel liner -- sepia ink specifically, which is a lovely light brown. That liner, twice the price of this one, smudges like no tomorrow.

This eyeliner is amazing! Brown eyeliners seem to always be too light, but this eyeliner is a very dark brown. The packaging is good quality and feels like a high end product. It stays on for FOREVER! Love it and will definitely repurchase!!

I got this because it's such a dark brown shade. Reg brown can be too light to stand out against some of my es and black can be too harsh on my pale skin. This is a great in between shade.
The formula is awesome. I use the included brush & like it. Usually when I use cream eyeliner, you have to swipe the excess off the brush on the side of the jar. This is... more solid but still creamy? IDK. All I know is that I can easily get the brush coated and not waste any product.
This glides on easily and lasts all day. Love!

One thing I don't like about this is the packaging. Maybe mine was messed up but why did they put the shade sticker on the gold top instead of on the glass bottom? Cheapens the whole look!!! continued >>

Great eyeliner that is the same brown-black color as Bobbi Brown's Caviar Ink but at 1/3 the price! The brush is fantastic, the color is great, and the eyeliner lasts all day. I've officially converted from BB!

I can't believe I found a gel eyeliner that is every bit as good as MAC's fluidline for less than $10.

The Espresso is very dark brown that is almost black. This goes on smooth and even. It has enough time before drying to smudge slightly without getting streaky.

This gel liner wears for 12 hours easily. It removes with dual phase eye makeup remover quickly and completely.

This is an HG gel liner without the high end price.

I bought this product in hopes that it would be similar to bobbi brown's gel liner and it is. I'm cheap and don't want to spend the high price on BB, so I decided to try this and I'm in love with it. Even the brush that comes with it is great. I have Asian monolids, every mascara and eyeliner always smudges on me and I always find myself with smudges throughout the day. With this gel liner, it stays on from 7am to 10pm. I've even gone to the gym and exercised with this on. I love it. This is definitely comparable to bobbi brown gel liner, in my opinion and I love that it's way cheaper. I bought this from rite-aid in a buy 1 get 1 50% off sale, so I also have it in black. I wear the espresso for a daytime look and use black for nighttime. I don't know how long the little pot will last til it dries out, but so far I've had it for 2 months and it's still good as new. Will definitely buy this again.

Hands down the best gel liner in the drugstore. Color is a gorgeous dark chocolate brown that lasts long on my eyes and waterline. Sets pretty quick but I always set my liners with matching eyeshadow. Comes with an eyeliner brush that is pretty alight. Packaging is golden and chique. I love using this Color for everyday looks. (I hate black; I find it too harsh on me). Def would repurchase this and other colors!

Just perfect, so smooth, deeply pigmented, glides on so easily. The included brush works brilliantly for me, a nice bonus!

The black shade was far too smudgy, and I definitely prefer Bobbi Brown's long wearing black gel liner - yet, I wanted to give the L'Oreal Infallible another chance because it glides on so smoothly and has super saturated colors so that I rarely have to go over the line more than twice. The espresso shade is deep enough to pass for black, so I would recommend it for pretty much any skintone. Again, super creamy formula that applies like a dream - the included brush is also of good quality and I like that it has a rounded shape vs. flat so you can control the thickness of the line. For oilier and/or hooded eyelids like mine, this product will smudge and transfer especially if you like to use a lot of liner. I found that setting the liner with a deep eyeshadow color helps to keep it from straying. I find L'Oreal to make the best drugstore gel liner - at ~$9 it's a good value. I hope they make more colors.
