I bought the Total Care Shampoo. It definitely made my hair feel nice and healthy, but I wouldn't recommend it for people with oily scalps. I couldn't skip a day of showering which is important to me because I dont want to overwash my hair. It wasn't anything special, I expected to have a refreshing feeling on my scalp like with John Friedas Root Awakening, which I prefer over this. Its a white shampoo, and has a subtle fruit scent.

I have been struggling to find a shampoo that doesn't cause dry, brittle ends and on the flip side doesn't make my hair greasy. I'm on a tight budget so when I found Clear at my local drug store I decided to give it a try.

I LOVE this shampoo. My hair feels clean, healthy and looks smooth. It smells great and the price is right. I would recommend to others and will continue using this product.

DO NOT USE!!!! HAIR LOSS!!! DO NOT SEND YOUR PRODUCT IN TO THE MFG. As you can tell from my user name; I experienced more than noticible hair loss. Sadly it took me a long time, doctors and tests to find out it was the shampoo. They have horrible reviews on amazo too, please go read and notice that the manufacturer has been replying with requests that the consumer contacts them. I did as I noticed that the hair loss reviews and mfg contact requests dated as far back as 2013. They were aware of the problem for a very long time. They will ask you to send it in so you have no proof the chemicals in their products caused your hair loss, DO NOT SEND in your product; send it to an independent lab. If anyone is as devastated as I am and want to stop them; the link below is information on class action lawsuits. Please contact me back if your interested.

Please click the link below regarding class action lawsuits; we certainly can get enough of us together; class action is better than individual lawsuits. http://www.jacobymeyers.com/questions-about-class-action-l.html

btw... my rating is too high on this product.

My review is for the Clear scalp & hair therapy total care shampoo and Clear scalp & hair therapy total care daily conditioner (the purple bottle)

As I'm always using a combo of shampoo and conditioner from the same line and same brand, I'm always doing the review for both at the same time. I got 2x 50 ml bottle (1 shampoo, 1 conditioner) in a 5$ travel sample pack from Walmart.

I usually use higher brands for shampoo. I have colored hair with dry ends, and as I'm trying to grow my natural color, the scalp get greasy because it's not colored. This shampoo and conditioner combo is great. The shampoo is really a weird texture, kind of fluffy instead of a silky lotion. I like it. It smells great, lather well and it's easy to lather everywhere on my hair, which is usually hard because my hair is long to my butt. My hair are left clean without being squeaky clean.

The conditioner is really soft, and my hair are left super super soft in the shower after using it.

The packaging is great, I love the color. The smell is good also, a soft smell that doesn't linger once the hair are dry.

When I dry my hair, they are super soft and puffy, and super light! I don't even need to use a straightener most of the time. It's a really good product for the price.

I'll update eventually as I bought 2 big bottle of it, but for now I like it. I just hope that my scalp wont get greasy after using this for a while. Also, after reading all of those review, I'll really pay attention to loosing my hair and hair shed. For now I'm leaving the 4 lippie mark because I like it that much, but i'll update if I see anything changing.

I am shocked by so many of these bad reviews I am hearing, because I never had any of these problems with the shampoo. I bought the Clear Scalp & Hair Therapy Frizz Control shampoo & conditioner after a friend of mine recommended it to me, she said it was super amazing & I had to buy it, so I did & I loved it. It made my hair feel so clean & soft. But I did alternate it with something else because I don't like to use the same shampoo for a long period of time. But when I did use it, it worked very nicely :)

Wow -I am so glad I founds these other reviews. Please take a second to read this review.
I have oily, straight, fine hair, but a lot of it. I even won best hair when I was in high school, and really take good care of my hair. I started using Clear because I suffer from a dry scalp. I thought it would help nourish my scalp. Until this morning, I had been using it for almost 2 years.

At first, I loved this product. It worked great on my hair and really balanced my scalp, leaving it less oily so I could go further between washes. It still does, in fact. I no longer have a dry scalp, and it makes my hair soft and pretty.

HOWEVER, I started experiencing a lot of HAIR SHEDDING. I've always shed a lot, but only when washing my hair. Now, I shed all day long. I can't even gently comb my straight hair without losing probably 15 strands each time. Also, I'm losing clumps of 3-5 hairs several times when I'm gently washing or combing my hair.

It has also changed the texture of my hair slightly. Some hairs are more fine, some are thick and coarse, with a zig-zag curl pattern. I thought I had a hormonal imbalance, and never considered it could have been Clear Shampoo until now! Reading about other people experiencing this has made me feel so much better. I will stop using this product and hopefully my hair shedding will reduce.

I really thought I was going crazy when I noticed more breakage than before with my hair. I attributed it to the fact that my hair is thin and I use a blow dryer everyday so I just thought I needed a hair cut. In the beginning I really liked this shampoo, it made my hair soft, shiny, and didn't make it feel oily. Fast forward to now, my hair breaks so easily, I have very thin hair but I have a lot of it, and I know my hair breaks but this was A LOT of breakage. I believe what causes it is the residue this leaves in the hair. I don't know about any of you guys but my hair never actually feels clean, it feels like there's a film over it or like I used conditioner on my scalp. I'm so mad that I didn't notice this before now, it took me using someone else's shampoo to realize how terrible this was, and I have been using this for some time now because I thought it was perfect; now I have to deal with the damage.

Bought this product because I have dandruff and I heard this would help, plus it was on sale, so that was a bonus!

Today is the third day that I used the Clear Scalp & Hair product. First off, I love the smell and it lasts all day long. When I blow dry my hair, it leaves it soft and really shiny, which I love.

However, I have been losing a lot of hair since I started using this product. I have thick hair and I'm used to a few strands falling out when washing but with this stuff, my whole hand was covered in hair after shampooing & the same result when using the conditioner as well. I noticed that I have more hair on my clothes throughout the day too...Which is really disappointing because I LOVED the way my hair looks and feel....I just don't want to be bald by the end of the bottle.

My dermatologist suggested I use this shampoo. I used it for several months and now when I wash my hair with Clear Scalp & Hair Beauty Therapy, Total Care, my hair is coming out in handfuls. My scalp also burns. Beware of this shampoo!!! Mine is going in the garbage.

So, I first tried Clear shampoo long before I heard it was being sold in the U.S. My mother had brought Clear back from Taiwan. It was magical. It had menthol in it that made my hair washing experience so incredibly pleasant (spent more time inhaling the minty freshness than paying attention to rubbing my scalp).

But when I decided to buy the shampoo here, I was very disappointed. The scent is very fruity, which actually I find quite nice. But the big downfall is the fact that my hair gets oily within half a day. I have normal hair (not dry, not oily), but this seems to make my hair so oily and causes me to wash my hair everyday. I am an every-other-day hair washer, since I don't want to dry my hair out, and this isn't helping. I thought maybe my hair had to get used to this shampoo, but after 2 months of using it, I finally give up.
