This is hands down the best pencil liner I've ever come across.
I've owned several of these in the colors black fever and hot chocolate, and I recently purchased coolest chic too.
The packaging is simple, nothing amazing. Just a regular plastic twist up system. I do like the twist up because I don't need a sharpener and the small tip still gives me enough precision. The twist up system hasn't broken on me after months of use.
The product itself is creamy, but not creamy or wet to the point that it gets messy. Compared to one swipe of Urban decay eyeliner pencil in perversion, it gives me the same blackness in two swipes, pretty good I'd say. Also, the urban decay pencil is terrible for tighlining because it's too wet, getting product all over your lashes.
I also compared the urban decay pencil with the essence eye pencil on longlastingness. I made one stroke of each pencil on the back of my hand and waited for it to set. Then I rubbed them vigorously under running water and that proved that the essence one lasts longer. the urban decay pencil faded and smudged, the essence held up and faded only a very little bit.
I mainly use this liner to tightline. Twist-up liners are perfect for tightlining and this is the only eyeliner that doesn't smudge on me. On my waterline it also preformes excellent.
Overall I would recommend anyone to give this liner a shot, it's dirt cheap and if it doesn't work for you, you haven't wasted much money.
This eye pencil was the best thing I have ever used on my eyes. Its easy to use. Dont have to sharpen it just twist. I'm using 02 Hot Chocolate. I also have 3 other colors but i dont wear them as often as 02. I would proudly recommend it. And its only €1,59 but works like a €15 pencil.
My go to eyeliner. Super cheap, and goes on nice and dark. I use the black. It stays on really well (I always use my Urban Decay Primer Potion though, so that could help as well) and it glides on really smooth, unlike a lot of other cheaper eyeliners I've tried (*ahem*, bonnebell), and is really good for smudging. Simply put, this is my favourite eyeliner!
This is so pigmented and creamy! It was about $3 CAD at Shopper's Drug Mart. The problem is that it's flaky/has quite a bit of fall out. If only the tip was always sharp but it's self sharpening

Actually far more long-lasting than many pricier eyeliners (just try it on your waterline). Also the black is a true black, which often isn't the case with other brands. I would only complain about the flimsy packaging which makes it harder to use and the fact that you don't get much of the actual product. Because of these two factors, you'll probably go through this eyeliner quite quickly.

HG eye pencils! Almost every eye product I've tried from essence is great, and this certainly is one of them. I have these in the following shades: Black Fever, Coolest Chic, Tu-tu turquoise, Think Khaki, Cool Down and C'est la vie (I think we can tell how much I adore these pencils :P) and I have around 12 pencils in total. I have to say is that these are oh so cheap ($2.95 AUD) and they are so lovely! Retractable so you don't need to use a sharpener and waste product, the packaging is chic and pretty, and the product does live up to its name - as long lasting and smudeproof with the help of a good eye primer. Also, C'est la vie (gorgeous shimmery silver) may be a little light to be seen as eyeliner, but I have to suggest that it's fantastic as an inner eye highlight and also for the lower lash line (really brightens the eyes). The large variety of shades available means that anyone can find a shade they like. Highly recommended!
I actually love this eyeliner! I use the dark chocolate brown, and I find it works just as well as some of the more expensive eyeliners. Cheap, and does what I want it to!

Cheap doesn't have to mean poor quality!
I wear a few coloured eyeliners, mostly as an upper lid hint of colour instead of eyeshadow. I normally buy Lise Waiter and other more expensive liners.
The rep at the Shoppers Drug Mart by me recommended this as an alternative. I was hesitant due to the price (under $4 I believe it was) but at the same time, for the price I figured why not (Lise Waiter are normally $18+).
This is a GREAT liner for the money! It's blendable without being overly soft, the 'self sharpening' roll up tube means no waste of product and it's well pigmented and it does last all day. Nice choice of colours that they'll hopefully expand on (I bought the tu-tu tourquoise).
I'd definitely buy again and will look at other products in their line if this liner is indication of the quality.

I have the deep gold and it lasts as well as $20 long wear automatics even with my oily lids. Not super smooth application but not bad at all- what a great bargain.

Incredibly affordable, pigmented and long lasting - I have this in 'Hot Chocolate' and it is my go-to eyeliner. It's not super buttery but it is soft enough and the retractable pencil makes it better value for money as you don't waste any product sharpening. It lasts me ages and lasts all day. If you haven't yet tried it, go get it! :D
