Great pigmentation and truly lasts on my oily lids without smudging or irritating my eyes. I actually look forward to owning more shades. (I have the shade Hot Chocolate). It doesn't need to be sharpened and it is very cheap (less than three dollars). A good choice if you are looking for a cheap drugstore option besides Wet n' Wild. My next purchases will most likely be the black shade and the shade Cool Chic.
I honestly cannot recommend this eyeliner enough! I wear it every day and find it has great staying power, it really won't budge unless you happen to rub your eyes a lot. The packaging is fantastic; because it has a twist up applicator there is no need to pare it. This is great because I never seem to have one on hand when I need it. The colour range is also good, I have tried the black, plum and forest green ones and liked them all. They are super pigmented and blend well with eyeshadow; they make a great base for a smoky eye. Overall a really good product which is incredibly cheap given its quality. Highly recommended!
Holy crap this stuff really stays on! I've tried many 'waterproof' eyeliners and this is the only one that doesn't smudge on me so far. It doesn't irritate my eyes too much either.. it is a bit dry and you can feel that in the waterline. Only thing is I cannot, for the life of me, sharpen this damn pencil. Wow. It's half gone from me trying to sharpen it without breaking it. Agh.
Wow, really nice! The reviews are right, this is great. I have the black one, works great on my waterline. Even better after heating the top of the pencil (lighter or candle, etc), beautiful black and after a heavy night no smudges or whatsoever. Highly recommended, HG, and the price, my gosh... If you would tell me this pencil is Dior or Chanel and I would totally believe it!
Love how smooth these pencils are. I don't feel any rough tugging on my eyes at all. I also love the colour selection. I went into the drugstore looking for something colourful but most drugstore brands play it safe with lots of blacks and neutrals. I bought this in Tu-Tu-Touquoise and Coolest Chic and the colour payoff is amazing!
I'm buying more for sure, especially since they were only 2.49 at SDM!
Yesyesyes I would repurchase. Omg HG eyeliner and it's crazy cheap. I've started using essence but still have high expectations since I've tried high end products as well. I love how all their products are incredibly cheap. Most that I've tried are great quality as well! This pencil is more black than the maybelline masterdrama and lasts longer! It's surprising cuz it's half the price! I love it! I love how u don't have to sharpen, it's incredibly black, doesn't hurt when applied to ur water line and is incredibly long lasting and easy to take off. The only downside is it's not as smooth as the milani liquifeye pencil but I acc like how it's not too smooth cuz then I wouldn't have to waste so much product. Mine will last me a while and I know it. If u haven't bought or tried this ur missing out
The black eyeliner is soo long lasting, more long lasting than my other eyeliners, including my UD24/7 pencil eyeliner. However, the other colors is not as long lasting. I have the brown, gold, purple and silver and they are all not as long lasting:( Overall, for it's price, the pigmentation, and packaging( yay for no sharpening!) the black eyeliner is a fantastic blastic eyeliner, but the other eyeliners are not as good. Just a warning:)
Cheap. Lasts as long as high end liners. Twist up makes it easy to use. I have it in both black and brown.
I always smudge a dark brown liner above my black liquid to make it less harsh. 02 hot chocolate is perfect. It's a matte, true brown (not red,) and is extremely pigmented, soft, and cheap. I have no issues using it on my upper lash line, and my lids are extremely prone to creasing. I've also purchased almost famous (nude, shimmery,) and love it on my brow bone/above my arches. It isn't nearly as pigmented as hot chocolate, nor is it as long lasting, but still a good buy.
The shades in this range vary in intensity, but at $1.99, I can easily afford to buy them all.
This is hands down the best pencil liner I've ever come across.
I've owned several of these in the colors black fever and hot chocolate, and I recently purchased coolest chic too.
The packaging is simple, nothing amazing. Just a regular plastic twist up system. I do like the twist up because I don't need a sharpener and the small tip still gives me enough precision. The twist up system hasn't broken on me after months of use.
The product itself is creamy, but not creamy or wet to the point that it gets messy. Compared to one swipe of Urban decay eyeliner pencil in perversion, it gives me the same blackness in two swipes, pretty good I'd say. Also, the urban decay pencil is terrible for tighlining because it's too wet, getting product all over your lashes.
I also compared the urban decay pencil with the essence eye pencil on longlastingness. I made one stroke of each pencil on the back of my hand and waited for it to set. Then I rubbed them vigorously under running water and that proved that the essence one lasts longer. the urban decay pencil faded and smudged, the essence held up and faded only a very little bit.
I mainly use this liner to tightline. Twist-up liners are perfect for tightlining and this is the only eyeliner that doesn't smudge on me. On my waterline it also preformes excellent.
Overall I would recommend anyone to give this liner a shot, it's dirt cheap and if it doesn't work for you, you haven't wasted much money.
