Love this color! I was in search of a nude shade for the Spring and Summer. I'm NW47, African-American (Dark Skin), who needed a lot of coaxing from the sales rep (pushy young lady) just to try and test this color. And, she was completely right! It's a soft peachy nude shade with a slight hint of brown. And, if you need a liner try 80% Cremestick Liner by MAC.
Plan on buying 3 more just in case it's discontinued.
I got Freckletone after the MUA recommended it for me. I initially didn't like the look of it in the tube, it looks like a pale peachy colour. But on my pigmented lips, I really like it! It's a mix of peachy/pink/nude. For me it's a lovely natural nude colour, but doesn't wash me out like Creme D Nude. I love the Lustre formular, yes you do have to reapply lots but I'm a fan of no fuss lippie, I can apply this without even looking in a mirror. I like to pair this lipstick with a bronzey blush such as Love Joy. For reference I am NC30 x

I wasn't sure how this would look on me since I'm a cool toned, fair NW15. I thought it might look too orange but I went ahead and ordered it. On my lips it's a perfect peachy nude, not too light or dark. It's sheer but buildable and very moisturizing. It lasted maybe 4 hours before I had to reapply.
If you found Myth or Creme d'Nude too light and found Peachstock too opaque, you should try Freckletone. It's main color is peach, with brownish undertones. On lighter complexions, it may come off orange. But it's a sheer glossy color - like a cross between lipstick and lip gloss. Enough color to make a difference but not opaque. Perfect nude for those in the NW25-NW35 or NC30-NC40 range, IMO. Definitely a good choice to play it safe if you're unsure about other nude shades.

I picked up this lipstick on the off chance because I go crazy at the mac counter and buy lots. I ended up loving this lipstick, it is now my go to! The shade is perfect for day time at work, it really goes nicely with a peach blush. The texture is also beautifully creamy. Thumbs up!!
I have had the hardest time finding my perfect lippie shade. I love my nudes/neutrals more then anything. It just goes with me. I am med./olive skin toned with subtle yellow undertones. I've bought just about every nude shade mac has to offer, and drugstore brands too. I came across this lil guy when I was at MAC and swatched it and basically melted. THIS is what Ive been searching for. Ive discovered throughout my search that peachy undertones are the most flattering on olive/med skin tones for a nude lip. and this is just that! Ladies if your in the market for a new neutral this is it. I wouldn't know how it would look on lighter/fair/cool tones because I feel it would not be flattering, but for the warmer olive tones this is for you! Plus the lustre finish is amazing, it stays on forever, with a glossy healthy finish. LOVE!

I have been looking for Malt which I now know IS NO MORE.....booo. Anyway, as part of my search for a new favourite, I tried Freckletone. It is great for a nude lip. It's creamy and long lasting and is my new go-to.
i've always been a huge fan of MAC Hug Me. it's my fave pink nude or neutral lippie for my skintone. i'm NC 30-35, a light tan color, dark brown eyes and hair. but i started looking for a more peach hued nude or neutral color. and i know freckletone would do well for that. as i swatched it in store, it looks dull on my hand. on the lips, it's a different story. my lips are quite a dull color (pale pink mauve) despite my warm color and freckletone made my lips look like a healthy peach color with hints of pink like those colors in ads. i use this often as it easily balances out heavy eye makeup or natural look. :)
color: warm light neutral peach with hints of brown
formula: lustre. so it's sheer and glossy. a fave formula of mine.
lasting power: not bad if it's judged based on the sheer formula.
would i buy again? yeahh. the color compliments me very well.

I bought this lipstick in the winter when i was about NC30-35. I didn't try it on first (dumb move LOL), didn't really like it on me it was a brown orange colour that just looked weird on my complextion. I decided to keep it anyways and glad that I did. This lipstick looks wonderful on tanned skin. I'm about NC40 or maybe a tad bit darker right now and it looks amazing it is now my go to nude for the summer time. The texture is nice and creamy. Will buy again.
