This lotion contains 0.5% BHA to fight acne and clay (kaolin) to control oil. The bottle is very small and sleek (2 oz pump bottle) and the pump dispenses the right amount of lotion for each area of my face. It goes on very thin and light, which makes it perfect for oily skin. I don't have much acne, but I do have clogged pores. This does not do anything noticeable to unclog my pores, but it doesn't worsen any either. I'll repurchase when they have a sale.

This is a good light moisturizer,but its the same as the Clean and Clear dual action one. Both of them have salicylac acid, and do the same thing!!! --the only difference is the cost- Avon is more expensive. I ran out of Avon, now I am using C&C-- no difference at all!!!! continued >>

i liked this product. i got it for next to nothing on sale, and if i had known how well it worked, i would have bought more. i noticed an improvement within days. i can only guess that it is the salicylic acid - this is a new ingredient for me, and i am happy with the results. i like that this is a light lotion that absorbs quickly and really does help my pores appear smaller. my skin tends to misbehave, and this has been helpful in reducing breakouts. i have combination oily skin that is very blemish prone, and i have noticed less breakouts. i have explored other products with salicylic acid, and am kind of shopping the sale racks, as that seems to be the crucial ingredient for me. with this weather, i lighten up on my skin care products, so this is my summer moisturizer.

This product claims to help banish the look of unwanted blemishes with salicylic acid, visibly shrink the look of pores in two weeks, and refine skin texture in one. I am very happy to note that after 1 week of use my skin never broke out and the size of pores appears smaller. Also this is absorbed fast and does not leave any residue behind. It also helps to ease the redness/hyperpigmentation due to past acne blemishes. It works just great!
Ed. After a month of continued use once a day, this product still delivers excellent results, decreasing the amount of redness, hyperpigmentation and pore enlargement. Will continue to use it!

Love the smell but the oil-control feature is only average. i'm only using this on my forehead and my nose because they usually get really shiny. well, this lotion does control oil for a while but in a warmer environment my forehead still get shiny. i don't think it prevents breakouts because i still get them and still get blackheads on my nose... but guess that's just my skin. the packaging is very convinient as it is a pump, but it comes at a price too. the lotion would dry up at the outlet so i always have to get rid of the dried clump first before getting the lotion that i can apply with. overall, this is not a bad product but i'm open for something better. if i can't, i'll come back to it.

I bought this lotion because it was supposed to control oil. I used it under my make-up and was still oily in the T-zone before noon. I use the pore-fection cleanser and toner and love both of those products. My search for the perfect mattifting lotion continues. Will not repurchase.

I really like this lotion. It was light, perfect for my extremely oily skin. It didn't break me out at all. I use it for when my skin feels tight, but not too dry. It works well for me. The only down side is the packaging, the pump usually pumps out too much at one time.

Good, basic light lotion. Use on your oiliest zones, but use a thicker lotion on your dry zones. I really like this lotion, but it has been d/c, so I will not buy again.

I love this moisturizor! It actually clears up my acne. This Light Moisture Lotion never feels greasy on me. This will be part of my daily skin regimen.
