Love this stuff!!! I have very oily sensitive and acne prone skin and when I can find a cleanser that does the job and not aggravate my skin... Is a Miracle!!!! Really excited about this cleanser... It takes off all my makeup and leaves my skin feeling so fresh but not stripped like most cleansers. I also bought the micro delivery exfoliating cleanser that I use in the AM, I use this in the PM.. And I got the take a deep breath moisturizer that I use both AM and PM. So ready to try their acne stuff ill be purchasing that soon! Love philosophy!!! :)

This is my all time favorite cleanser. I have tried others and always come back to purity. It thoroughly cleans my face after a long day of makeup. It doesn't irritate my sensitive skin and doesn't over dry my face. I use it with my clarisonic and they are a perfect pair. It is a great value for the price compared to other cleansers.

I was lured in to trying this product mostly because of the claim that it could double as a makeup remover. I'm all for simplifying my nighttime routine- the fewer steps between me and my bed, the better. Although it does a good job of cleansing my face, it's not the most effective eye makeup remover, especially when wearing eyeliner. It also tends to sting the eye area.

While this is not an overall bad product, I don't think I'll repurchase. (Too expensive for what it is, for one thing!) The SA was nice enough to give me a sample of the original Purity cleanser, so I'll be giving that a try in the near future.

bought this from sephora for $18.00. the SA recommended this for oily skin gals like me. it is wonderful! i dont buy much from the philosophy line, just the triple acid pads. this face wash has me rethinking their other products! a little goes a LONG way with this gel. you need some pressure to squeeze out but thats better than the whole thing gushing out. i cant detect any fragrance and it takes off all my makeup and eye makeup W/OUT leaving my face feeling stripped! my skin feels so comfortable after the wash. i dont feel like i need to run and slap some face lotion on right away. great gel face wash and the price is tolerable, $18.00 for a 7oz tube.

I <3 this product. Before I used the regular one, I believe it's supposed to be a lotion or moisturizing. The other one is good too, I just like this one better because the packaging is prettier and the product foams up. I have dry skin in the winter but during the school day I can look shiny around my nose even though it's not actually oily. This does a pretty good job at keeping my face it's naturally dry state in the winter, really really good for people with oily skin. It does not moisturize at all, I should be using a moisturizing one but I prefer to use a moisturizer and not a moisturizing cleanser. But it would be great if you had oily skin. The packaging is so nice, comes with so much, a little goes a long way just like the original. You have to squeeze pretty hard to get it out, but totally tolerable. If you rub this product in enough it will totally deep cleanse your skin even though there is zero exfoliation. I really rub it into my breakout areas and I see a difference, it evens out skin tone too. Love it.

LOVE THIS CLEANSER!!! It is so gentle, smells great, and MELTS off my make-up. Though the price is a little steap for a facial cleanser, one bottle lasts me for about 4 months. I use this cleanser alone or with my clarasonic and it works great!

I absolutely adore this facial cleanser. I use this when I wear a full face of makeup because this cleanser literally takes off the full face! If you are wearing waterproof makeup, you will still need a separate remover because I didn't find this strong enough for that. But most days I don't wear waterproof and this is perfect. I have bought my bottle last year around May and I am just now starting to run out! I prefer this one over the original purity because this one foams a bit and I just like foam. Highly recommend.

Doesnt burn my eyes, removes makeup, doesnt make me breakout, just fantastic.

This cleanser has changed my skin. It takes Everything off even h20 proof mascara. It's perfect for oily skinned beauties and works even better with the Clarisonic. The packaging sucks because you have to practically squeeze the bottle with 2 hands, but oh well. All you need is a dab for your face and neck so the bottle lasts a good 3 months.

I loved the way this made my skin feel the first couple of days that I used it. My pores looked smaller, my skin was an even tone and no excess oil! Then it happened my face started to get red and blotchy, the oil went into over drive and I broke out like crazy. Obviously there is something in this cleanser that started to aggrivate my skin and after looking into the ingredients my guess is it would be either the piper nigrum (pepper) oil or the hydrogen peroxide that did it There is certainly a butt load of ingredients though so it could be something else . Defintly not a keeper for me.
