Love this bronzer! It smells amazing and doesn't look orange! The staying power in my opinion is not the best that is why I have it a 4 out of 5... I do find myself grabbing for this bronzer a lot!

I'm always very wary of bronzers. First, they always look orange on me, even the Benefit Hoola bronzer. Otherwise, they are glittery and chunky and just looks bad.

But....my foundation was a shade too light and I wanted a sunkissed look for summer since my face tan has not caught up to my chest and arms.I was originally going to get this in the darker color, and then decided to get the lighter shade just in case. When I suddenly got tanner (NC30 to NC40 in a week!) I was afraid that the lighter shade I ordered online would be too light.
Nope!

It gives such a beautiful and matte color to my skin that doesn't look forced, streaky, heavy handed, and most importantly, orange! It takes about one full sweep to bring color into my cheeks and I use this on my high cheekbones to bring them out, as well as on my temples for a faux tan.I have yet to contour my nose with this but I'm very suspicious that it will look absolutely natural.

Beautiful packaging, looks great on my counter.

The one con is the fake chocolate smell....reminds me of the chocolate milk cartons the first graders I work with spill, or sugary candy. Yuck. At least it only lasts a few minutes on my skin. If you smell it from afar, not so bad. Don't put your nose to the powder if you don't like chocolate. I eat chocolate by the ton and it still smells gross to me. Also, I cried a few tears the other day and it streaked through the bronzer LOL so I guess don't get your face wet or cry over stupid things when you have this on.

Overall, my HG bronzer for the purpose of bronzing. I can't say this is pigmented enough for contouring and sculpting, but I think the original shade would work for that.

I really like this bronzer! It's matte which is great, it's not too dark and definitely not orange. This suits me better when I'm a little bit paler as my skin is olive toned, but I also have the darker version which is great for the summer, not that I use it much when I'm tanned but a little extra definition is always good. The smell... now, I adore that smell. I love it so much: it truly smells like cocoa. Good staying power, good quality, doesn't break me out and doesn't break the bank. I've had mine for over six months of regular use and I'm still far away from hitting the pan so it does last a while. Absolutely recommend this.

Love this bronzer, give a slight glow without the prominent hash contrast on my complexion. Smell yummy, nearly hitting pan.

I reached for this more than my Nars Laguna and Tarte Park Ave Princess Matt bronzer.

Will repurchase once I hit pan.

I really like this bronzer because I use bronzer to contour rather than to tan my skin and it is so difficult to find a matte bronzer for fair skin! This one is really good for me though; it applies and blends well and the colour is nearly perfect for me (although perhaps still a tad too dark). I know a lot of people find the chocolate scent too much but I personally really like it! I think the packaging is really good quality too - as it should be when it costs as much as it does, that's its only downside!

I got the Milk Chocolate bronzer because it's lighter than the Chocolate bronzer they have. I wanted something that would come off more natural yet I'd be able to contour my face and give me some dimension. I'm an NC30-35 in MAC and at first I thought this bronzer may perhaps not even show up on me but after applying it to my face it worked beautifully. I love that it smells like chocolate and also the fact that it's matte. I'm almost about to hit pan on it, and when I do I'm most likely going to repurchase it again.

I got milk chocolate bronzer because I planned on having at least a little bit of color during spring break. This product did just that. I use is around my temples and as a blush. I am very fair so I use just a tiny bit and blend it as much as I can. Expensive, but I did not want to risk having a muddy or orange face. It smells wonderful too :)

You would be surprised how hard it is to find a non-shimmery blush that is suitable for fair skin. This is a very nice bronzer for fair skin. It is natural looking, smells yummy like chocolate and has a nice big mirror in the compact. It was very hard to find but I found it in a sephora inside jcpenney and am so happy I did.

When purchasing a Too Faced Chocolate Solei bronzer people need to make sure they are getting the right one. This review is for the MILK chocolate one, which is the lighter of the two. This works wonderfully for me because I am too light skinned to use the regular unless I want to look like I have a huge dark brown streak on my face.

This is a MATTE bronzer. I needed one for contouring that was light enough and not overly orange, which is always easy to see for some reason on my face. Granted it is pricier than I would like to pay for a bronzer, but because it is the only one I have found to be light enough, not so orange, and matte, I will pay the price. I use it to also bronze up my neck and shoulder, chest area when wearing makeup to ensure everything looks blended because in the winter my neck and chest can be extremely pale.

I take off a lippie because of price and the smell. YES it does smell like chocolate; like cocoa powder for hot chocolate or baking. And on the package it says it contains some, probably the source of it tasting sweet [it can fly into your mouth during use.] However, I find the scent doesn't appeal to me because it's not the most fresh smell and a little over powering. I wish it wouldn't have to compete with any lotion or perfume I plan am wearing.

So if you need a lighter matte non orangey bronzer and willing to pay a higher price for it while not minding the smell of chocolate, go for it!

I rated this a 3 lippie because I honestly didn't know which way to go with this. But here is my experience:

CONS:
- I had an instant burning sensation after applying this. I had ignored this feeling when I used Tarte Amazonian Clay blushes and ended up with red welts on my face. I gave this bronzer two tries to be sure it wasn't in my head...it wasn't. I had to return

-I love that it is light...and I don't mind that it is so yellow toned as I felt it warmed me up with the usual red/orange tones. But I am NW20 and it was light, but I liked that for a subtle contour and a warm glow. If you want more darkness or heavier contour, go for the Chocolate

PROS:
-I loved the way this stuff smells.
-I liked the color selections and lack of orange/red tones.
-Matte
-I wanted THIS to work because of the two above. When I returned the sales rep kept trying to offer other bronzers to me, but I wanted this because of the color and smell and nothing else came close to it.
