When I apply this mascara alone I feel my eyes irritated. Maybe it's because of the formula that flakes. When I apply another mascara after, like Clinique high length, It is ok.
I like the effect though, it defines well the lashes and the comb is really nice. Too bad This doesn't work for me. For a cheap mascara I'll stick with Maybelline Falsies, wich last all day!

This is probably the worst mascara I have used in my whole life. It's super cheap. This looks alright when I first put it on, but after a few hours of blinking, it ends up under my eyes, which I've never experienced with other mascaras I've used. It smudges really easily.
Usually I use Rimmel or Max Factor mascaras which are probably my favourite.
Although it's cheap, but you get what you pay for!

I love this mascara. I purchased the waterproof version as a challenge to find decent beauty products in Australia under $5 and not only was I completely blown away by the quality of the product but it's become my every day mascara. It cost $4.95 and honestly it is hands down the best mascara I've ever used. It dosen't clump, flake or smudge. It holds a curl in your lashes beautifully and there is no bleeding later in the day that gets in your eyes. I use make up wipes to remove it and there's no residue. Will I purchase again. ABSOLOUTLY.

For R30 (about two dollars I think), this mascara is pretty much amazing. It flakes like you wont believe, but on application it makes your lashes look amazing. Another thing that disappointed me was the fact that it was so difficult to get off. I don't normally use waterproof mascaras so perhaps this is the problem. It is very heavy duty and washing with cleanser is not enough to get it off. You definitely get what you pay for with this mascara, but it works better than many other more expensive mascaras I have tried.

I bought because i was in need of a waterproof mascara and this was really inexpensive. The brush is really big but i got used to it. It lasts all day and night and my lashes look amazing. It does smudge a little in VERY humid places after a few hours, but overall it's a great mascara and i'd buy it again. Oh and the packaging is really cute!

REVIEW FOR THE WATER SOLUBLE VERSION-
This mascara is good. It volumizes and lengthens the slightest. It stays throughout the whole day, so that's good. The only problem I have with it is that it's a little hard to coat through all your lashes because the formula is pretty dry... Im not a fan of dry formulas. People complain about the brush being too big, but I like it. I love that big brushes coat every lash quicker then using a tiny brush here and there. But then again... The dryness. Its difficult like I said. But overall, I layer this with other mascaras and it works! Plus it didn't make a dent in the wallet. Only $3.99! I would not purchase however because I stay with my CG lash blast :).

This is my first waterproof mascara so I don't know if it normal that it makes my eyelashes stick all together and in the end you get doll eyes. BUT if you enjoy having your mascara play the role of eyeliner like me, then I recommend this mascara whole hearty.
It gives my lashes a very deep black which I love but not enough curl or length; if your are looking for that I advise your to buy this mascara version without the waterproof factor.
It keeps it's place even with rain pouring down on your face or in really, really humid air...you will not have to worry about 'panda' eyes.

Wonderful and really affordable mascara of excellent quality.
It makes my lashes long and thick, even voluptuous, without smudging or flaking.

This is only effective if you put about 5 layers on (waiting for each one to dry, or you will be pandarized. Even then, it's not enough!)
The fluffy brush doesn't work very well. Very low lash/brush connection and therefore low coverage, I didn't find it separated my lashes like straight brushes do. Maybe it's my lashes :-) I already have black lashes, but they aren't as long and black as they once were. I like well-defined, long and unclumpy lashes.
This does seem to work better as a top coat. I use another essence mascara (which I love) to separate them, then put a few swooshes of this on afterwards, to make the ends really black; it seems to build better then.

I wouldn't buy it again. Repeat to self: I should not give in to the temptation to buy lots of cheap mascaras....
