this smells divine so fresh like cucumbers it goes on really nice and covers without looking cakey, it covered my dark spots and stayed on really well but after a week of using it it gave me boils sadly but if your not prone to spots i would recommend this

I bought this foundation when I first starting buying more high-end products. I honestly cannot stand the scent when applying to my entire face, and although I like the coverage, I find it latches on to dry areas and settles. I don't dislike this foundation, but I don't love it either. Once I manage to use this up (it's my winter colour, so that'll take some time), I definitely won't be repurchasing. I also find it hard to believe that something called "Ever Matte" would seem to have such a dewy finish.

For girls with sensitive noses, stay away. Strong cucumber smell ( which doesn't bother me)... Nice consistency, applies nicely, good coverage (not full coverage and you will need a touch of concealer if you have acne scars, etc) but the best of all? Keeps my oily skin at bay... I consider my skin VERY oily and yet I can get away with no blotting sheets all day. Doesnt look too powdery or cakey. Doesnt accentuate fine lines or pores. Love the price for the quality! Did not break me out yet ( using 3 weeks). Recommend!

I have finally found a very good match to my skin. I wear 109 in this one, pure beige in Estee Lauder Double Wear, 2 in double wear light, 110 in Clarins Everlasting. Medium coverage, nice texture. Go get a sample :-)

MMM it smells very fresh! I love it. It makes my skin pefect all day. I have com. skin and a oily t-zone and dry patches all around my face. I don't se a problem with my dry areas. It isn't super matte and gives your skin a nice dewey finish. unfortunately here in DK we only have 6 shades com. too other contries, they have 11 :( I use nr. 108 sand- but after reading on the net, 104 would be better for NC25 skin.

I was not expecting to fall in love with this Clarins foundation. I had never used many Clarins products before, but had received samples from time to time and really liked everything I tried . I picked up the ever matte foundation in honey beige, in a pinch when I ran out of my Laura Mercier Tinted Foundation. That being said, I really really love this Clarins foundation. It has wonderful coverage but I do not feel like it is too heavy. I apply a small pinky-nail sized dab onto my face and use my fingers to spread evenly on my face and it looks natural and great! I have combination skin, with occasional dry spots between my eyebrows and sometimes on my cheeks, but I find that this foundation does not accentuate the dryness, as long as I apply moisturizer before hand! The matte finish is also really great because I don't feel like I need to set the foundation with loose powder...unless I want to avoid mid afternoon shine! I don't usually need to, but I set with a loose powder if I know I have a long day ahead of me (8+hours).

I am not particularly loyal to my makeup or skincare products, but I really liked the quality of this foundation and will probably repurchase when I'm done! The color matches my skintone, has a natural finish, light/medium very buildable coverage, light texture, matte finish, and long-wearing! I will note that the foundation IS a bit pricey, as I spent almost $50CND on it, but I think it's worth it for how long it'll last...AND I hate buying lots of cheap foundations/ or foundations that dont' match my skincolor...and having to throw it out! So I see it as a savings in the long run...haha

I just bought this after using Nars Sheer Matte for the last 2 years. Ever Matte has extraordinary shine control but doesn't have that extreme matte finish that some oil-control foundations leave you with. Ever Matte is sheer and buildable and I think best applied with your fingertips.
It's odd, but the color looks really different blended in to your face than it does in the tube or on your hand. This is one you have to actually wear in order to get a good color match. Also, the color is exceptionally stable. I wear it for about 10 hours at a time and the color does not oxidize and oil does not break through. Really a great product.

Good foundation with really nice smell. I found the best match in sand. No other foundation has made a better shade match to my face.
The coverage is light tot medium and buildable.
But with my rosacea I need definately to use a concealer first, because it doesn't cover all the spots.
There is an spf in it, which is great. After eight hours I need to do some touch ups, especially around my chin.
Staying power is good. But when it comes to coverage and lasting power, cliniques stay matte is number one. I don' t need any touch ups for 10 hours.

This foundation actually made my skin oilier than usual possibly because of the alcohol content, I have to use blotting sheets or powder 3-4 times a day. The staying power is average and it looks like it oxidizes because it's yellow by the end of the day and it doesn't add any luminosity to the skin. This is such a poor quality product even though at first glance the ingredients seem ok. I am truly disappointed.

I got samples to try of colours 108 Sand and 109 Wheat - both were pretty good, but I preferred 108 Sand which makes sense since that's the best colour match for me in Clarins' Skin Illusions foundation.
When applied it felt a little tacky but spread evenly and gave medium coverage. The scent is nice and fresh and didn't linger (which is good). The staying power is fairly average but the last two days have been very humid and hot, so perhaps a little better than average would be fair.
It does show up dry spots, my skin still got oily but I guess the hot days made it worse. I used a primer today but not yesterday to compare, and using it with a primer does make the staying power better.
I'm not sure if I will purchase this foundation as it doesn't meet all my needs but it isn't bad. Still trying to find my perfect foundation.
