This is my go to mascara when I want that dramatic look! It's gives lots of volume..thickness and makes them look super black! looks like I'm wearing false lashes!

This mascara didn't impress me or meet my personal taste on how I like my lashes to look. It did add volume, but left my lashes looking stumpy & clumpy. It also flakes like crazy and leaves me with irritated raccoon eyes. Finally, even though I knew this when I purchased this mascara, it is not available in a sealed package, therefore you never really know if it's been opened previously. I have and love many Essence products, but there mascaras I will not be buying again for safety and hygienic reasons. continued >>

At first I loved this mascara, it had build-able application and made me look like I had fake eyelashes on while still leaving the tips wispy. Along with volume, It curled. defined and lifted my lashes. However, it didn't take long for this mascara to begin drying out. After only a few hours, I would catch many black flakes under my eyes and over all, the mascara dries out in the container after a few weeks.

I find you can reapply this through out the day where the mascara has broken off and it will still look good and not clumpy, but I'm not the kind of girl that wants to reapply makeup through out the day.

I really like this mascara i had bought it for my friends bday and she already had it so she said i could keep it but anyways, its amazing my lashes are volumious and long as well, i paid 2,99$ for it wich is crazy cheep and it comes with TONS of product. Its not super wet but not super dry and does'nt dry super clumpy/crusty!

Hmm, saw reviews on the black one, went to Ulta and bought this for $4.99. LOVE the price and the tube is cute. I bought the hot pink one instead since it was newer and claims DOUBLE the extreme volume. So I put this on and..Im a bit disappointed. Yes, there IS volume but not without clumps. With just 1 application, I had to immediately brush through with my lash comb because my lashes were sticking together. Once dried (again, only 1 coat), some lashes had little "balls" at the ends of it which I had to pick off. The color is very black, which is nice, and again, there is volume but i'd rather have a lot of volume AND separated lashes. I also had a bit of raccoon eyes a couple of hours after-which I wont deduct any lippies for because most all mascaras do that to my oily eyes anyway. I definitely wouldnt say this gives you the "falsh eyelash" look (well, for me it absolutely did not) because i equate that with longer looking lashes. This makes my lashes look a little thicker but not longer. Its definitely an awesome price and comparable to a lot of popular DS mascaras but the look is pretty "daytime" for me. id rather just use my maybellines "full & soft" and just do 2 coats to get the same look, if not better, since F&S actually does a fantastic job of separating.
bottom line: wouldnt mind repurchasing for the rich black color & fabulous price...but clumpy. continued >>

This is a fairly good volumizing mascara but not so much length, which I really need

I also have the one in the Hott pink tube and I would also RAVE about it it's so wonderful. It's volumizing, it holds the curl in my lashes, it gives amazing length. I have tried a few mascaras including benefit they're real and tarte lights camera lashes but this one far and away takes the cake! I even bought another kind of essence mascara to try because I liked it so much. I would absolutely buy this stuff again and again, I'm addicted to the false lash look it gives my lashes.

I have the one in the pink tube and bought this after hearing Emily from Beauty Broadcast rave about this on Youtube.
I would only recommend you guys getting this if you want super thick, super long, separated, DRAMATIC lashes with no flaking, weird smell or hard to work with formula!
I thought for about $5 bucks, what do I have to lose? I am so freaking wowed by this mascara!!! Seriously, I have been reaching for it everyday over my Cover Girl, L'Oreal and Maybelline ones because it quite frankly out performs them all, by a mile! Like I said, It separates, thickens, AND lenghthens! I am a die hard Voluminous user and have always gone back to it throughout the years, yes I've had flings with various so called miracle mascaras throughout the years (Lash Blast, Falsies, Clump Crusher, The Rocket) but none of them compare to this one and it's so inexpensive! The only way I could see anyone not liking this is if you like the low key, "natural" , not in your face lashes, otherwise please just go out and try this RIGHT NOW!

I was so surprised when I bought this mascara because its a great mascara for only four bucks that i paid. gives you great volume in no time. its comparable to loreal voluminous. i really liked it.

The quality for the price is unbeatable! This mascara is volumizing, isn't clumpy, and rivals some very expensive mascaras I have bought in the past.

I costs $4.99! It does not dry out, it comes off easily with makeup remover. The only small downside is that it can flake ever so slightly after a long day. I would recommend this!
