I ADORE these custom palettes. They are my new favorite thing from ELF, hands down. I can't believe it took me so long to try them! The mirror is massive, the case is a pretty pearl color, and the magnet is decent. However, be REALLY careful to never drop these. Don't just throw it in your purse, the palettes will fall out and they will break. I managed this the very first time I used it.

The navy color is a gorgeous matte true navy. It is very pigmented and has great staying power. I put it on over the ELF essential primer and it has been on without fading a good 6 hours now. I paired it with moondust (lid) and wheat (crease-brow) and used the navy in the outer corners and as an eyeliner. I have gotten many compliments today on how nice I look! I am thrilled with the quality of this eyeshadow. It is really beautiful. Some navy colors are either too sheer, too gray, or too blue and this strikes the perfect balance. It is the best navy I've found yet, and that's saying something!

wow!! OMG!!!! can i even say how excited i am to own these new shadows from the element line???? i have always LOVED & ADORED the element shadows- which i never understand how they get no hype- theyre amazing!!!
=PRICE/AVAILABILITY=
The Elf Element Eyeshadows are available within the Elf Essentials $1 line which makes these yes $1!!! its unbelievable that these are so cheap & affordable. Also can be found at some Target stores & Sears Grand but this will vary depending on your location. But for the price- these shadows are amazing!!!
=SHADE/FORMULA/PERFORMANCE=
According to the Elf Site: "The luxuriously smooth and highly pigmented, silky formula provides eyes with an awakened brightness for a long-lasting wear. Choose your favorite colors that best compliment your style and insert them into the Custom Compact for a totally personalize palette!" The formula of these shadows is superb. They are pigmented, soft, smooth, apply well, blend well. They are not chalky. They all do have somewhat of a metallic finish to them. I do wish they would come out w/ loads more with different finishes. But i do have to say these are really nice to work with. They are pigmented, true to color in the pan w/ no chunks or filler. The have a great selection so far of colors to make so many different looks. Most are earth tone colors with some soft colors as well. I love all of them- gorgeous colors. So onto the new color-
NAVY is a gorgeous true deep dark navy. I was a bit scared at first to use it since im not a fan of any color of blue since im so pale, and nervous, but navy is so pretty! it does have a slight silver shimmer which is barely noticeable once applied to the eyes. It does have more of a satin finish to the skin. Its a great blue to add to any ones collection esp if you are like me & scared or blues or darker colors bc it will cost you so little & hopefully you will love it like i do. NAVY is a great color to add to a look to smoke it out, define the crease or outer v. It also can be applied lightly & blended out for a more subtle blue- its so pretty. i love to use it along the lower lash line to bring out some color in my brown eyes since blues take away redness in the eye area. Its great all year round. great to pair w/ simple looks & great for transitioning day looks to night. Def highly suggests to pick up NAVY, as well as the other newer colors to the Elements, Aubergine, Wheat and Driftwood- all four are amazing and ill keep praying the continue to release more! and it would be a miracle if they start putting out different finishes to the shadows like mattes, shimmer, satin, metallic- wow! i already love elf but the Element shadows are true hidden treasure!
=PACKAGING=
The Elf Element Eye shadows are available to use within the Elf Custom Palette. The palette is made to fit 4- 28mm pans- yes the same size of a Mac shadow. These come boxed in cardboard as well as inside a plastic case. I store mine in the Elf Palette/Quad. Its a great quad to own since you can add any 4 shadows you would like. The backing of the individual shadows is a magnet w/ sticker of shade name. These are great single shadows that you can add to your palette cases or buy one for $1 on the Elf site. I love that you can get a $1 eyeshadow that def compared to those that are $13 or more. I love these shadows.. They are absolutely amazing!
Overall, i think everyone should def add these shadows to your collection and enjoy them as much as i do. There are 4 new shadows in this collection & i was so excited to try them & all 4 of them are gorgeous colors. The four new ones, Navy, Aubergine, Wheat & Driftwood- great additions to the amazing colors they already have. Navy is quickly becoming a favorite color of mine and I def suggests these to friends and Id repurchase this one esp since its so pretty! I have really been reaching for these four shades since its fall time & these colors are warm and lovely!
