I'm cautiously optimistic about this product.

I'm 33 and have combination very sensitive skin with very few wrinkles anywhere so far, and as another reviewer said, I'd like to keep it that way. I've noticed that there are small lines that appear around my eyes when I smile and disappear immediately afterwards, but they appear nonetheless.

I've been using this daily at night for about 4 weeks as directed and I haven't noticed any irritation or flakiness, which is a big deal for someone with skin as sensitive as mine. The area under and around my eyes seems better moisturized, firmer, and brighter. This cream doesn't migrate into my eyes, either, even when I use a facial night cream all over my face beforehand.

I am going to edit this review in another 4 weeks to update the results, but so far, so good. Like other people (and my doctor) have said, the key is to keep using the product and not give up. . . which is hard to do when you want instant results.

I'm in my mid 20's and already have rather deep lines under my eye which is the only real sign of real deep wrinkles so I bought the whole range to see if I could get it to help my skin stay reasonably smooth since putting concealer was. more difficult than it had ever been.
I really like this finally after 4 creams with less than perfect results.

After a week I have found that the lines have smoothed out and are not as deep as they were the weekend before and it has not made my under eyes dry and flaky. I really think that this is worth a buy.

If you are more concerned with dry under eyes try simple brand eye cream

I am 55 with not too many wrinkles anywhere, but I want to keep it that way, so I thought I would try this eye cream because of the SA Retinol in it. In the past I have tried many very expensive eye creams and treatments from Skinceuticals, Jan Marini, DDF, and SkinMedica. None of them has done what the Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Eye Cream has done.


My skin is very oily all around my eyes. I'm not sure if this is why the retinol in this product is not causing any irritation, but it could be. And for those ladies who are complaining that the eye cream has left their eyes looking worse - that often happens with a retinol product. But if you persevere through this period (sometimes up to 3 weeks) you will be delighted to see improvements under and around your eye area.


I do not work for Neutrogena or any subsidiary company. Based on the results of this eye cream, tonight I bought the night time face cream in the same line, also with SA Retinol. I use Skinceuticals 1.0 Retinol, so I don't anticipate my skin to become flaky or irritated. I will report back (in a new product review) in a few weeks once I have given the product a fair chance.

I had bad experience with neutrogena brand in past, but decided to give a try again. This experience is not better than the previous ones. It didn't make my fine lines and crow feet less appearant and there is no way that it is rapid! My under eye skin is dry, this cream makes it dryer. There is no moisturizing effect and I didn't notice any antiaging effect either.However I do think that it is good for hot summer and for those who have extremely oily skin ( if it can be under eyes). I am completely disappointed with this brand and not going to use any more. Plus, I bought it for 22$ which is expensive for drugstore, I think.

BEFORE I used this product my eyes were a little dry underneath with of course the the wrinkles..which is why i bought the product. I did not have the darkness or puffy problem, just a little dryness & wrinkles. Now, AFTER using this product for only 4 days, i seem to have DEEP wrinkles and EXTREME dryness and now my eyes are VERY PUFFY! Now I have more of a problem before I started using it!! Now I just do not know what to use! Has anyone had the problem using this then having extreme dry, almost flakiness along with deeper wrinkles and puffiness???

I've only been using this a little while but I think I"m seeing a difference. I don't really have a lot of wrinkles YET but i'm trying to do prevention on my under and sides of my eyes (the only place I'm starting to see lines)...this stuff is light and sinks in quick.

Now i am one person who has been on the search for the perfect eye cream to take care of the lines and crepiness i had developed around my eye area. I had tried a number of non-retinol creams in the past from the fairly priced Boots to the pricey Murad without any success. They all did nothing and i was beginning to think that nothing would work to improve my eye area.

As with all things i take an interest in, i decided to do some research and discovered the world of Retinol. Now the question was which retinol product should i try? After reading zillions of reviews here on MUA, i decided to give this fairly new neutrogena product a try because i love neutrogena products and use a fair number of them.
The packaging for this is excellent. Comes in an opaque tube with a tiny sanitary tip which dispenses the exact amount you need to cover your eye area. The cream is extremely moisturizing. This is the best eye moisturizer i have used. It lasts through the night and your eye area never feels dry or parched with this on.

Even though the product claims that results will be seen in one week, based on my research on retinol products, i knew that it would take a while for any results to be seen and i'm glad i knew that because i would have given up on this eye cream. After a month of consistent nightly use, i could see no discernible difference and was beginning to think that this was one of those.
However, i kept on with it and by the end of the second month, my eye area was visibly much better. I'll define that. This did not completely eliminate my lines but they are fainter and are less obvious. The most wonderful result is actually the general condition of the skin around my eyes. Looks firmer, smoother and less crepey. I can look at my face in a face mirror and not have my heart sink at the sight of my eye area.

This has met my expectations because i know that once lines are formed on your skin, nothing short of surgery will get rid of them. The results you get with this cream are the next best thing.

My skin is dry and sensitive, so I was pleasantly surprised to discover that this retinol eye cream was sufficiently moisturizing and didn't irritate my skin. I dab it around the outer corner of my eyes twice as day as instructed, and also on wrinkles and creases on my face. It does seem to reduce the depth of these wrinkles and creases.

This thin lotion is packaged in a sanitary tube with a wide base so it stands up, thus taking up less space.

I had used this eye cream every night, right after cleansing, for about 8 weeks and then stopped for about 2 weeks. At the time I thought it really wasn't making much difference in the fine lines and crepyness around my eyes. But looking back I remember thinking to myself that my eyes and concealer application were looking pretty good. While applying my concealer the other day I noticed the lines and dryness around my eyes appearing a lot more pronounced...especially after concealer. Is it because I stopped using this? You know how you don't know how something is working until you stop using it? This is that "something"! It works! Pure and simple. It doesn't burn or irritate my sensitive eyes and I didn't notice any unpleasant fragrance. I'm surprised at how well this eye cream performed and plan on purchasing the night moisturizer for the whole face, as well. Will report back in a couple months with a full review on the product. Would I buy this eye cream again? Absolutely! I'm a faithful user from here on out.

Oh God I was so much eager to like this product but it had been nothing but a disaster for me. I am 25 and have dark circles, mild wrinkles and puffy eyes. I bought it to kinda help me with those. Since it said it was okay to apply it under makeup, I did so in the morning and used it again before bed in the same day. Nothing happened on the next day but when I did the same thing the next day, I woke up with big deep wrinkle on the third day. I was horrified. It wasnt even an old wrinkle deepened. It was a new wrinkle and boy was it deep. I am not going to buy this again. Disappointed and now I have a new problem to get rid of those new wrinkles (thanks ro neutrogena)
