I love love LOVE this concealer - it blends great and lasts all day without retouching through out the day. I have oily medium toned skin and I got a shade of this concealer a bit lighter. I just dab it on problem areas and red spots and pat it with a flat top synthetic ELF brush. It never fails to amaze - best concealer for the price!
PROS:
Conceals well
Blends easily
No need for retouching
Easy to apply
CONS:
Small bottle, doesn't last long
Great concealer!
Not bad... Went through 2 of these but after I ran out, I randomly tried the "Revlon Colorstay Concealer with Softflex" and I like it much more. Here's why:
PROS: 1) Pretty cheap [in my area, about $5 or $6]
2) It had decent coverage & blended well with the UD Naked I use.
3) Didn't break me out.
CONS: 1) Slightly cheap packaging. The first time I purchased, I dropped it only 2/3 times from 3 ft. high & the wand/cap cracked.
2) Doesn't last for very long. The product dries out fast in it's packaging. Even when I closed it tight after I used it, half the concealer inside would get dry before I even got to finish most of it.
BOTTOM LINE: It isn't a bad product, but there are better drugstore concealers for a buck or 2 more. Still currently using the Revlon Colorstay & I don't plan on going back to this. Check out my review for that if you're still searching for a better concealer. Especially since half the product would dry inside of the package, this one wasn't worth the $6 to me! continued >>

My skin: acne-prone, oily, old pink acne scars from picking, occasionally a small pimple. VERY PALE. My skin would be the neutral baby of NC/NW 10 in MAC, at its darkest.
This product is one of the most natural-looking concealers I have ever used. The lightest shade, porcelain, is a very pale neutral color, and is a perfect match for my Caspar the Ghost-toned skin. This is one of the only drugstore concealers that matches me, and it happens to be one of the best (YAY!).
Breakouts: No
Coverage: Medium. It covers the lighter acne scars perfectly. It needs a bit of help on super red areas from a fuller coverage concealer, but it provides a base of color so that I don't have to use as much of the heavy-duty concealer. The BEST part of this concealer is that you can use it over large areas, like most of a cheek, and it still looks good and natural. My scarring is mostly on my cheeks, and I use a coat of this over my cheeks instead of foundation and it looks great.
"Blendability": Amazing. I blend this into my cheeks and it looks like I'm not wearing makeup. My skin just looks flawless.
Lasting-power: Good. It stays best with a setting powder. It doesn't transfer much if at all when set. It moves around a bit on my super oily areas, but a powder foundation on top takes care of that problem.
Scent: Pretty horrible. This is the only con of the product. It smells like burnt plastic to me.
With the price of this product, it is definitely worth a try. I do wish more stores carried NYX around here besides Ulta, which is an hour away. However, cherryculture.com is currently having their 40% off NYX sale, so I got 4 of these for around $3 each.
I was hesitant on buying this as I don't have an Ulta store within reasonable driving distance from my home and had to order online. I purchased NYX's Concealer In A Jar a year or two ago and was very disappointed.. It didn't even begin to cover my very dark circles, and caused me dry patches/fine lines under my eyes every time I tried it. I couldn't my terrible experience with it after reading so many online raves for that particular concealer :(
The second reason I hesitated was simply because I was torn between shades Porcelain & Fair (CW01 & CW02). I typically go with the lightest concealers in every line, but saw some swatch pics of Porcelain and was concerned it may be too light but at the same time Fair looked as though it may be too dark.
When Ulta recently had a 40% off NYX sale I couldn't pass it up any longer and decided to go with Porcelain CW01 and I'm MORE than pleased :)
For reference I'm 30years old with oily, pale, clog-prone skin with very dark and purple toned under eye circles. In MAC SFF I can pull off NC15 at my darkest but am usually between NC10 & NC15 (making me NC13ish I guess? I haven't been to an actual MAC counter in a decade O_o lol)
I decided to go with Porcelain instead of Fair because I've been obsessing over the "triangle method" of applying concealer to my under eye area and wanted to make sure I got one that would brighten up my complexion.Porcelain does exactly that.
I purchased this to use for my under eye area only though so I can't describe how it works on blemishes. But I can say that I am super happy with how it handles my very dark, purple toned under eye circles. It's very light and creamy, never cakey. &I've had zero issues with it creasing.
& I just have to comment on how light this shade is because I'm so impressed! There aren't many concealer shades out in general that are THIS light, and there aren't any at all that I can think of from the drugstores this pale in color - so way to go NYX! (&Since I wear under eye concealer daily I have tried them all - from Maybeline Age Rewind Eraser in Fair, Maybelline Fit Me in 10 AND 15, Maybelline Dream Lumi in Ivory, L'Oreal Visible Lift Pen in Fair, & L'Oreal Magic Lumi Wand in Fair) None of the above are as pale as this concealer in Porcelain.
NYX HD Photogenic Concealer Wand retails on Ulta's website for $4.99 and often goes on sale. (A steal of a price if you ask me! ;D)
I also have experienced no issues with clogged pores or acne blemishes from this concealer which is another concern of mine (aside from shade matching) now that I'm pulling my concealer down further on my face (with the triangle method that I mentioned above).
Overall I highly recommend and do plan to repurchase. I only need one coat of this and it blurs away my dark under eye circles flawlessly. Definitely a 5 lippie worthy concealer from NYX! continued >>

This concealer is my absolute favorite and its the only yellow concealer that blends flawlessly. This yellow concealer does amazing things. First, it completely evens out my skin tone under my eyes and around my nose. Second, it doesn't crease or settle into fine lines or pores. It doesn't cause any breakouts either.
I love it.
When Im out of it and I am forced to use a different concealer, the difference is so obvious. To me, anyway. BeneFit's Lemon Aid is so thick in comparison, and doesn't blend into the skin like this one does. This concealer also has staying power and I don't find any red popping through by the end of the day. Other concealers tend to wear off and I find myself using more concealer than I would if I am using this NYX concealer.
The wand is great, however it is a bit difficult to use all the product in the tube. I find myself trying to try to scrape the wand against the sides of the tube to get product on the wand when it's getting low.
All in all, this is a fantastic concealer. I haven't tried the other shade though because the yellow does everything I need. I'd definitely recommend trying it out if you have redness or discoloration around your eyes.

I am so happy with this concealer! Superb quality, very pigmented, goes on smooth and blends in well. I'm NC30ish (in the Summer C4 in F&B, NC40 Studio Fix PPF) and bought this in Glow (which is described on the NYX site as Medium beige with beige undertones) was a pretty good match for under eyes, but would be too light for spot concealing elsewhere on my face. I have read some reviews saying that it settles into fine lines... for me it helps to put on some eye cream and moisturize prior to application. Overall great quality and awesome price! Highly recommended! continued >>
No concealer has worked this good for me! this one does not stick to dry spots and it covers my redness, only reason i took a lippie was because if i have a really big blemish this does not cover that great! but for small redness its amazing! great staying power! and perfect color!
