I have really terrible under eye circles and this helps. I love the finish of it. It's buildable, but if you use too much, it can settle in any fine lines. Overall, it does give great coverage when applied correctly. I'm giving it three lippies for now until I can use it a little more and see if there are any tips or tricks that'll make it work incredibly.
Got this yesterday at a Mac store in Macy's the product makes my ugly baggy eyes look flawless and it moistens under eyes as well
amazing love it.
edit; I only used this in the store and it looked nice I decided to wear it out today and it's creased badly and wore off quickly. It never covered my darkness well. (The lighting tricked me) Disappointed in MAC. Had high expectations.Far better concealers out there that aren't this expensive. Might try prolong wear I've seen it's a HG for a lot of people.
Off topic but MAC girls are snobby and have horrible makeup it's quite ironic
This works for me. I like how it's build able coverage and kinda gives a little 'glow' to under my eyes. I had first tried the pro long wear concealer but I found it too drying for my skin. Price is a little much but it looks like it should last a long time.
I don't have a problem with blemishes or uneven skin tone, but my dark circles are really bad and have been bothering me for years, which is why I'm constantly searching for the perfect concealer. I prefer to stick to brands I trust completely, so my two latest concealers have both been MAC (definitely one of my go-tos), but unfortunately none of them have done it for me.
After giving up on the Pro Longwear concealer (semi-decent cover, but horribly dry) I asked the MAC SA for a non-cakey concealer with lots of moisture and medium to full coverage, and ended up with the Mineralize concealer in NW30, which she strongly recommended.
Well, it does have moisture, I'll give her that. The texture is super silky and easy to work with, it doesn't crease or crack whatsoever. However, it also doesn't cover. The coverage you get is light to medium, and impossible to build up by applying more. It seems as though it only really works in certain lighting. I would possibly recommend this to someone with dry skin in need of light to medium coverage, it might also be good for covering blemishes and/or using the triangle method.
3 months of usage and no breakouts
This is my favorite new concealer for my horrible under eye circles (I use NW20). The consistency is great and I love the little brush applicator is so easy to use. The coverage is not as much some other concealers I have used, but it significantly lightens up the circles without looking too unnatural.
This is the first MAC concealer I have ever tried. I have combination skin with an oilier t-zone in the summer time. The girl at the MAC counter matched me as NW20, this was probably a shade or two too dark for me in the winter and spring. I am probably a bit between NW20 and NW15 but this color works good for me in the summer when I have a bit of a tan. It sets to a semi almost matte finish which works well for me because I almost always use a semi matte or matte foundation. I am able to use this under my eyes as well which I love, it doesn't crease and is not so matte that it looks dry under my eyes. It has medium to full coverage and this stuff does not budge on me for close to 10 hours, it usually outlasts my foundation.I have not had any breakouts with this and it has been my got to concealer for about 3 months now. I like the little brush applicator, although I usually just apply it to the back of my hand then use a brush to blend onto my skin. Overall I love the finish and lasting power of this concealer and I also love that I can use it under my eyes.
I still have pretty much 1/3 left of Select Moisturecover, even after 9 months of daily use.. but I was to buy a different shade eventually, as NC20 was waay too yellow for me and was standing out. However, NW20 was far too white, NW25 plain white with pink undertones, NW25 turned purple red on me. The SA suggested me to try the mineralize one in NW25, claiming it's more moisturizing(what can be more moisturizing than Select Moisturecover?!) and the color match is better. NW25 was spot on my color, however, it does not cover for toffee, the lasting power is about 2-3 hours tops, it dries and cracks under my eye area (I make sure to use a fatty eye cream underneath) and you use more product overall, as the texture is rather thick(but not that pigmented). When you compare it to Select Moisturecover - half a teardrop spreads around the face like butter, covers like a dream, 12h+ staying power, more pigmented, doesn't dry on my skin, amazing as eyeshadow primer.´ Overall, this just doesn't do the business for me, looks more like a medium coverage foundation in a messy jar.
I have this in NW 20 for my very bad dark circles, and in other colors for work. Even if the coverage could look like medium, this is perfect. Perfect consistency: not too creamy, not too liquid. Suits the skin very naturally, It's a pity it is not long lasting like prolongwear, but it's my favorite for dark circles. Let be clear: you can't look natural and completely get rid of dark circles. This is a good compromise. Already repurchased!
So I purchased this a few days after it came out(after researching it a bit) And I'm still using the same tube from last year! Yep,last that long..but I dnt wear mu unless I'm going somewhere, but I've always used this as part of my rountine since getting it. I've gotten some slight dark under eye circles from stress & not sleeping. I originally had tried the Studio fix one,but returned it as I couldn't tell a difference. Plus it was way to thick, dry & heavy for me. I like that this concealor is creamy as it going on smooth & easy to blend. The lil brush applicator is useful for me when applying. I usually use my Mac 224 or another brush to blend it in, or my fingers. It does however crease some, but I found setting it..esp with the Ben Nye powder works. I think in a month or so when its gone,I will repurchase this as it seems to work for me.
I have finished my first tube of this and will be rebuying it. I've been using NW20 and it's the perfect shade for my skin, blends perfectly-great consistency and I like the brush applicator. Covers a multitude of sins. I am prone to breakouts and as well as offering good coverage this has'nt caused any breakouts at all. It never looks too thick or cakey and does'nt make my face oily either. I also mix it with the prep and prime brightening concealer for under my eyes as I work nights and it works well. Really can't recommend it enough.
