the formulation= POOR
the wand= POOR
Unless your desired eye makeup look is ' the morning after a night of drinks, dancing, craziness and not washing your face before you pour yourself into bed' look.
No volume at all. Unless I just got a bad tube, I really didn't see much difference in my lashes.
If there were an option to give zero lippies, this would be the product to earn it. First of all, it's got STUFF in it. The actual mascara has little bits of fluff/stringy looking stuff in it. I'm guessing NYX considers this "fibers". I call it fail. Pure and simple, I do NOT want to put little strings on my eyes, what if it gets IN my eye!?
Secondly, the mascara itself, other than depositing small bits of "fibers" on your eye does absolutely nothing to make your lashes look like they're made up at all. I'm not exaggerating, it looks like you put nothing on after you put a coat or two on. Overall, terrible terrible stuff. Don't waste your $.
Overall bad. I think this product is falsely advertised. It does absolutely nothing. Disappointed because I'm just beginning to purchase NYX products and the items I have purchased haven't really impressed me. Oh well.
I knew I should have read the reviews first! this mascara does absolutely nothing. don't waste your $10 like I did.
awful awful awful. no length, volume, separation or curl. it just makes your lashes darker and smudges in 30 minutes.
Faux Lashes? It doesn't do a thing!!! Its the only NYX mascara I've tried, so I don't if there's better ones out there. But to be honest, I'm afraid to buy another NYX mascara....
Pretty weak stuff. I don't want to waste this mascara so I will probably coat my lashes with this product as a base, and then go over them again with a better mascara and a stronger wand. The good thing is, it doesn't smudge, and I didn't spend a whole lot of money on it. I just wouldn't recommend this mascara to anyone, or repurchase it in the future.
This is my second NYX mascara...I should have saved my money.
First of all, I have serious issues with the packaging, er, lack thereof. I'm okay with products that don't come in boxes, but if they're not boxed they should have a sticker connecting the tube and the wand so you can see if it's been opened. I think the first mascara I bought from them had been opened multiple times as it was VERY DRY!
After the dry tube of Doll Eyes I was pleased to see NYX came out with a new line of mascaras and decided to give it a try. I'm a fan of volume on my lashes and opted for the Faux Lashes as it stated for increased lash volume.
Such a disappointment. The brush looked like it had promise. It's a smallish cone shape with traditional bristles vs rubber. No big complaints about the brush.
The formula...BAD! First off it's a fiber formula. No where in the display did it say it had fibers in it. I personally do not like fiber mascaras. I did give this a try, multiple times. Everytime I would end up with a little tickle on one eye or another from those dang fibers!
For a volume mascara it is an epic disappointment. No volume to speak of. Not buildable and it does not hold a curl. It never really dried completely either.
Overall impression...NYX should stick to eyeshadows and lipsticks. :(
Faux lashes? more like faux promises. This mascara seems like it should be great, slender relatively dense brush, decent texture, not too wet but it's a total fail. This mascara applies more like a bad lash tint, I get no volume or length at all. I was willing to give it a chance; after swiping and layering like a mad woman I would at least expect a bit of clumpy volume I would comb out.. maybe length instead..something to work with... anything. Nope. Don't waste your money
