I completely agree with the previous reviewer - it's a pretty, peachy nude shade, but just waaay too sticky. It comes with a little brush on the end, which I don't really like. It doesn't seem very hygienic to me. Also, it takes a fair bit of force to squeeze the gloss out into the brush. I was scared that it would burst at the seams. I wanted to like this but the texture and packaging really lets it down. I'll have to try and find a way of making it more comfortable on the lips - maybe applying it on top of a more slippery lipbalm would work. I wouldn't recommend this product, nor would I buy another. Being cheap isn't an excuse, I've got other lipglosses from brands that are similarly priced and they work/feel just fine. Such a shame, because it's a lovely shade.

This is probably one of the worse L.A. Colors lip product I've tried. I've seen variations of their Glossy Lips gloss in dollar stores and beauty supply stores.. this review is specifically for the larger squeeze tub with a brush applicator that retails for approx $3 which is a bit different than the Glossy Lips found in the dollar store.
Banana Split is a lovely pale peachy pink shade with fine gold shimmer. It looks absolutely gorgeous in the tube, very subtle and not too obnoxious with the "gold" as some other brands. Unfortunately the problem is the formula... it's so thick and goopy... it's like applying glue on the lips. It's really heavy and sticks your lips together.. with this sad, it doesn't even provide a high glassy shine either which is what you normally would expect from those oh so uncomfortable sticky type glosses. The formulation is rather similar to Stila lipglazes but worse... It leaves a really bad film/white ring around the lips after a few hours too. Scent is subtle and sweet but very hard to detect. Color range for these more expensive LA Colors glossy lips is quite gorgeous but for $3 I can definitely find better. I've had much better experience with their dollar glosses with the doe foot. Sorry to say Banana Split is going straight to the trash bin. It is that bad!
L.A. Colors needs to change their squeeze tube with brush applicator nonsense. In theory this is a good idea and I've had brands who do this right but all of the products from this brand with this package is really awful. There is too much pressure required to dispense the product so you get this awkward huge glob that spew out from the bottom side of the brush making application even more difficult than it already is with the terrible formulation!
