Another one who didn't read reviews before buying. I just saw these in CVS and got so excited because "Kohl? That I don't have to buy from shady ebay sellers? YES!" I'm so disappointed. I did get great color (after slightly moistening the tip of the eyeliner), but it was gone by lunch. I didn't have the smudges that other folks did...it was just GONE.

Please save your money, do not waste it on this product!!!!
Like all the other reviewers here, this is a miss!!!
The black and purple ones broke as soon as I started using it like, like 5 seconds in!! The brown so far has managed to hold in, it does go on smooth and has nice color but soooo not worth it. So disappointed with this product. DO NOT BUY!
Where is the 'Hell NO!' option for would you buy this again?!

Of all the bad cosmetics impulse purchases I've made over the years, I think this may have been my worst. I should have read the reviews before buying! I concur with everyone else who written about this product. These kohl liners are crap. Their worst sin is being fragile to the point of being unusable. I broke two of them before I ever got around to using them. The purple one broke when I was just putting the cap back on after opening it up to look at it. I nudged the tip with the cap, and it broke it half. The second broke when I was swatching it. The whole kohl liner came loose from the handle when I was drawing it on the back of my hand (and no I wasn't pressing that hard!). The last one managed to survive use, but giving how quickly the other two died, I can't imagine this one staying in one piece for long.
Even if you are careful enough to use these without breaking them, the product is crap. The black has decent pigment, but the brown and purple were semi-sheer. They're super smudgy and don't last very well on the waterline.
This is just a bad product all around. I can't believe PF put this one on the shelves. Even if you find this product on clearance for cheap DO NOT BUY.

Not only is this NOT waterproof or smudge proof, the whole thing broke the first time I tried to use it.

Terrible product! I love the look of a kahAl however the color is not very saturated. For a drugstore $12 is not cheap! No sooner did I get home I rushed to try it and it broke! So disappointed! Do not waste your money!

I wish I read these reviews before I actually bought the set. The packaging is beautiful and the eyeliner colors are SO pretty. BUT, they are not waterproof. Or smudge proof. I put them on my upper eyelids and not too long after, I noticed that they smudged to the lower lid. Major fail. Not sure how they can sell a product like this and mislabel and get away with it?

Horrible product. I thought this was going to be opaque, and waterproof ie. not smudge. They are very shear, and smear right away. I wish I could have tested them on my hand before I purchased, that's the true test. Back it goes.

Looks pretty in the box but this is an EPIC FAIL! Any cheap eyeliner will last longer than this crap! This didn't even last 10 mins and made me look like a panda! Don't waste your money!

Consider yourself warned! I thought this would be awesome considering the claims and the fact that the shimmer strips gel eyeliners are my most favorite of any eyeliners on the planet! I haven't really read other reviews but whatever negative comments they are saying, believe it to be true! This is terrible! It's expensive, the pencil style makes no sense, and the product doesn't do anything except smudge. I can't possibly think of a reason why I'm keeping them on hand except the pencils looks cute in my eyeliner drawer. Shame on you physicians formula for even bringing this on to the market! =(

I wanted to like these but truth is truth and they suck! I thought the one's I bought were all dried out or something because I could not get a good line to show up in either color. I shook and shook and kept trying but finally I gave up and took them back. Some things belong back in the store to let the companies know to make their products better and I really do love so many of Physician Formula products, just not these.

These eyeliners do not live up to their claims when applied on the inner eyelid--they do not wear well at all. On the outer eyelids, they wear better but don't expect to ever draw thin lines with them.

These look so beautiful! Like magic wands of gorgeous colors. I got the trios for green & hazel eyes. They both come with a black. The hazel set also comes iwth a medium purple (very similar to the color in the gel eyeliners from PF which does look great on green/hazel eyes) & an antique bronze (very pretty). The green eyes trio has the black, a deep purple & a pretty medium green.
These are meant to be used on the inner rim, so I suppose if you keep the pressure of application right on the tip of the product while applying it may be fine. As soon as I tried the green the tip broke off. I assumed I had done something wrong so I carefully tried to apply the medium purple & the whole end of the product broke off!
I can't comment on wear, cause I was so p.o'ed that I haven't touched them, again.
Gorgeous color! Gorgeous sticks of unusable product! continued >>

This is the quickest I have ever returned a product, and I am pretty irritated because this is way more than I usually spend on makeup, because I am a tightwad. Absolutely awful. No staying power, and although I am quite used to using kajal-type products and understand that they are designed to smudge (which is why I love them) smudging is not the same as smearing all over before vanishing. Also the payoff is awful, especially for something claiming to be a kajal-style liner. It takes several strokes to get an opaque color. Add to that the fact that you cannot sharpen the pencils (what the hell!) which I didn't realize when I bought the things, and you get a big fat one star review. Boo, Physician's Formula. BOO.

Wish I would have read the reviews on this. Remembered seeing it in a magazine, so when I saw the brown-eyes pack at the store thought I'd give it a try. Everything the previous reviewers had said would happen did. Almost no color payoff, broke off on second use and not even close to smudge-proof let alone waterproof. Do not write a lot of reviews but felt the need to warn people on this! Wish it could get a zero.

The WORST kajal I've ever tried.

Purchased this a few days ago and have been trying to like it, but they've all broken during application. Application is smooth but pigment is light, and when you make the slightest press to get some proper colour, the kohl breaks. That's pretty much a guarantee. I can't be bothered to mold it back together like the previous reviewer because there are no redeeming qualities to this product that makes me want to use it again. I find this product to be a waste of money and effort, even with the $9 mail in rebate. Oh, and for all it's claims to be waterproof, i don't see how that's possible. Half the colour smudges away with the lightest swipe of the finger. Cute but un-sturdy packaging.

These have no color payoff.. And you can wipe it off with your bare hand. Not waterproof not anything proof.

A warning to all the hardworking pretty ladies on MUA - please please stay away! The product is such a bunch of doodoo it actually made me angry. I paid 11 bucks for the trio plus the mail-in the rebate so thankfully the feelings of guilt for wasting money were fleeting...anyway. Here's the story. I was looking for a substitute to my L'Oreal Hip Kohl powder. I like the powder but don't always have the steady hand and/or patience to apply it on a busy morning. Then I saw the trio and pondered it for a while. And then some more. And then I bought it. Let me tell you, this is such a lie product it makes me wanna boycott Physician's Formula for life. I got it in 'Green Eyes' - a light-ish shimmery green, a shimmery purple, and a black with green glitters. For some reason I imagined it to be powdery, like a stick of charcoal. It's not. It has a consistency of play-doh. The color payoff is horrible. It isn't 100% waterproof as claimed. It doesn't stay on the waterline at all. I repeat, at all. In addition, the black and the purple ones' tips broke off almost immediately during application. I was able to mold them back on but the tips aren't pointy anymore and fall apart whenever I try to put it on. I'll resist the urge to set them on fire and may find some use for them, maybe as a cream eyeshadow but as a waterline kohl this product is useless.
